I also think the right shoots itself in the foot when it comes to women and gays. A - because they’re a natural part of the population that will never go away, and B - there’s no way to shift things back to before the 20’s when women couldn’t vote. Even under fascism it would never succeed or last for more than a decade or two.
Even the “based” right wing female celebs (Tomi Lahren, Lauren Southern, etc) are in their mid-20’s, unmarried, and focused on their careers. It’s contradictory to the conservatism they preach, but the truth is no group would set their own rights back 100 years and render themselves back to a household prop. I’m in favor of the traditional family unit but there are always going to be people that exist outside of it, women that want careers, gays, etc. I think fighting against that is counterproductive.
The real war is becoming less about traditional cath conservatism vs liberalism and more about populism vs globalism, about demographics and cultural shift and immigration. That’s something any American can get behind. Not just white people, first gen immigrants and Latinos that work to get where they are are harmed by a lot of this as well. I think loosening up on the female/gay rights question would help the right (or the dissident right) garner more support for what imo is the bigger issue facing the West.
And yes, even women and fags can be horrified while watching an amalgamation of societal failures burn down American cities. But making them feel that if the opposing forces win they’ll be transported back to when they couldn’t open a credit card on their own doesn’t help them rally behind us.
