This is why I FUCKING hate these movements, they always take a minor problem (in comparison, police need to be accountable if they fuck up), and turn it into something far bigger than it needs to be with VERY negative consequences if unchallenged.

It spreads with the engine of prison/bail/racism reform advocate organizations and their gaggle of corps cowed and blackmailed into huge donations.

They want to create a world devoid of consequences. No shame, for everything you do is righteous if you choose for it be. No responsibilities, because everything is owed to you by a hypothetical other who took it from your ancestors. No accountability, for no choice is ever made, all crime is a result of societal forces.

I wonder how much of this is to do with our monkey brains only evolving to process sights that are actually within sight range. The media spotlights someone who dies to cops each year, and subconsciously people react as if that person was killed right in front of them. Because being able to see it on TV gives it that level of immediacy. And even if someone tries to put it in perspective while lacking the actual stats, its easy to assume that everything that gets reported on a national level must be the tip of a far larger iceberg, the media surely wouldn't exaggerate phenomenon to cause trouble for their own masters, would they?

There's not even a need to 'do anything' to advance right wing ideas with this. The footage of retards looting stores does the work for them. The footage of people getting the shit beat out of them by rioters for the crime of standing in the way does the job for them. The media decrying people protecting their stores and homes with guns as evil fascists does the work for them. The karens and commies witchhunting people on social media for thinking riots are bad do the work for them.

I also think the right shoots itself in the foot when it comes to women and gays. A - because they’re a natural part of the population that will never go away, and B - there’s no way to shift things back to before the 20’s when women couldn’t vote. Even under fascism it would never succeed or last for more than a decade or two.

Even the “based” right wing female celebs (Tomi Lahren, Lauren Southern, etc) are in their mid-20’s, unmarried, and focused on their careers. It’s contradictory to the conservatism they preach, but the truth is no group would set their own rights back 100 years and render themselves back to a household prop. I’m in favor of the traditional family unit but there are always going to be people that exist outside of it, women that want careers, gays, etc. I think fighting against that is counterproductive.

The real war is becoming less about traditional cath conservatism vs liberalism and more about populism vs globalism, about demographics and cultural shift and immigration. That’s something any American can get behind. Not just white people, first gen immigrants and Latinos that work to get where they are are harmed by a lot of this as well. I think loosening up on the female/gay rights question would help the right (or the dissident right) garner more support for what imo is the bigger issue facing the West.

And yes, even women and fags can be horrified while watching an amalgamation of societal failures burn down American cities. But making them feel that if the opposing forces win they’ll be transported back to when they couldn’t open a credit card on their own doesn’t help them rally behind us.
