it went along the lines of "hurr if you ask why kids are at protests being pepper sprayed rather than why cops are comfortable pepper spraying kids, then there's the door"

So I have an Amazon TV, which was a fucking mistake by the way because it lags to fuck and back and constantly drops Wifi, but anyway, I woke up and the TV had gone back to the homescreen and what's the first thing I see when I awaken this morning?

There is truly no escape. I dreamed that Uncle Adolf had been cryogenically frozen in Argentina and that he was awakened by the sound of a worldwide chimpout of epic proportions. Then I woke up and found reality all too stark and disappointing.
I'm really just waiting to be staring up at the night sky and see a hovering rocket-propelled billboard in LEO floating past that proclaims: "BLACK LIVES MATTER, HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR WHITE PRIVILEGE TODAY?"

Nah, they just never grew up and out of these sorts of things. There is no initiation into adulthood anymore, so these people cling onto their fandoms as if they were character traits.

i always wonder, with takes like that: why do they post them?
like, it seems to me that the answer is so incredibly obvious, surely everybody must know it, right? being in a large crowd makes it so the cops can't effectively pick and choose their targets at all, so if they get attacked by someone in the crowd, their retaliation is almost guaranteed to hit many different people in the crowd. it's one of the effects crowd anonymity has.
