There's two types of Abos. There's the pure bloods who live in desert camps and huff petrol and spend all their centrelink money on grog. Then there's the urban mixed raced whose Abo great great grandma was fucked by an Irish convict in the 19th century because there was a shortage of white women. The good things about the demonstrations is that hopefully a bunch of them will catch Corona, which will be hilarious if it happens, and watching the government cow tow to these fucks might wake people up to what a complete crock of shit the lock down is.

Maybe it'll be like the overthrow of the Stuarts in England, ushering in 100 years of Whig domination, an extreme form of which became the founding ideals of America, to the point that even the founder of modern conservatism, Edmund Burke, was actually a Whig who criticised the French Revolution. And then 300 years from now in a breakaway space colony that had long since grown into a great power of its own some people will be outraged that certain radicals of an ideology we can't yet imagine have an implacable drive to subvert our institutions to overthrow our ancient ideals of "Social Justice", but said subversives will manipulate some new media tool to ensure that their message is drowned out to most of the youth. Maybe that future will have its own version of Tucker Carlson, railing against the spinelessness of the technocrats as they allow these subversive alien-loving lunatics to walk all over them and destroy our multicultural heritage without putting up a fight, as our old enemies laugh at us.

Now that I think if it, the original Gulliver's Travels and Jonathan Swift's other writings are basically a satire of Whiggism. So if you want to know what the 18th century equivalent to right-wing shitposting is, that's your best bet that I know of.

As long as soldiers are killing people and not arresting them, it's not "Law Enforcement", just public safety. Just like using the military due to a hurricane or earth quake.
