... what about EMTs? Suppose they're called to a potentially dangerous situation and need cops to protect them? Then what? Is a trained civilian going to talk down the schizophrenic guy slicing people up?
We'll train the EMTs how to use a firearm and de-escalate a situation. Let's throw in the ability to arrest people too for good measure.

Slap me if late but this horrifying shit happenned in the UK :

Irish teen was brutally stabbed multiple times by a group of joggers tonight over bus money

(warning, graphic)

Edit : it's streamable, i don't know a site where you can download the video for archive.

Like I really do wonder if the protesters calling for disbandment realize that.

They only think about what they can get now, not the consequences. If Any city actually abolished their police force it would be truly catastrophic.

First anyone with money leaves, this results in a tax base of zero, leading to the city having absolutely no money to fix anything.

Since the only people left are all on government handouts, there is no economy, every business leaves except for pawn shops, convenience stores, liquor stores, and gas stations.

The death spiral really speeds up when everyone starts turning to crime and gangs to survive. Eventually without intervention these places would become like Somalia, a lawless hellhole complete with daquarius the warlord and his army of child soldiers.

I have a friend in Seattle who has been around these hipsters and according to him and their social media their circles are very homogenous and WHITE with a few Asians. They have very little contact with black people except maybe as co-workers serving tables. This is all performative.

Surely you would agree that there is somewhat of a greater need for planning ability in places where the temperature of the air periodically drops below a certain point and stays there sufficiently long to make crops no longer viable and to make people seek warmth and shelter with winters?
Holy shit.

Being warm doesn’t magically allow you to grow crops all year round. A lot of tropical climates are interrupted by excessive rain or dry seasons. Even if you are in a zone where you can grow everything all of the time, you will still need to have the ability to plan ahead for other purposes. Such as livestock and other things.

ACAB will accelerate the use of robotic and other automated systems for security in lieu of traditional policing. Video of felonies committed will become the rule rather than the exception, and patterns of depraved activity will become harder to handwave away when middle America is bombarded with HD video of it.

The 'post scarcity society' that futurists jerked off to in the 1990's shows its other side: We simply don't need all these people, and have no idea what to do with them.
In other words more pervasive surveillance. Fantastic.

A journalist covering the BLM ralley in Vancouver, BC was attacked by the crowd, and the VPD arrested HIM instead of his attackers. Don't they know the commies want to kill all police officers even if they're allied to BLM?
Attack starts at 2:53:00
Holy shit, that is ridiculous.
This shit is cultish.

Violence update:

Quick tip for those who want to read the article. The facts end after the third paragraph. Everything after is some organizer of the protest lying about what happened and spewing verbal diarrhea about BLM.
ALAMOSA – A 49-year-old Canon City man remains hospitalized after being shot during a downtown protest here early Thursday evening. At approximately 5:56 p.m., Alamosa Police were dispatched to Main Street and State Avenue in reference to a shooting.

After an initial investigation, officers quickly located the victim at 2nd Street and Richardson Avenue in a vehicle, with a gunshot wound to the head. Alamosa Police Department identified the victim of the shooting as 49-year-old Canon City resident, Danny Pruitt. Pruitt was initially treated at San Luis Valley Health and later flown to UC Health Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs for further treatment. As of Friday afternoon, Pruitt was in critical but stable condition, according to APD Captain Joey Spangler. The Courier will keep the public updated on his wellbeing.

Law enforcement identified a suspect, 27-year-old Alamosa resident James Marshall, and subsequently placed him into custody at approximately 8:40 p.m. Marshall was charged with attempted 2nd Degree homicide, 1st Degree assault, reckless endangerment, felony menacing, criminal mischief, illegal discharge of a firearm, and prohibited use of weapons. Marshall reportedly is an attorney with a second-story office in downtown Alamosa.

Marshall had been taking part in a local protest, taking place at the intersection of State Ave. and Main St. The protests have been organized in a nationwide response to the murder of George Floyd at the hand of the Minneapolis Police Department. Floyd’s death has highlighted the systemic racism inherent to many of our nation’s institutions. Thursday night’s peaceful protest , as well as, two previous protests , were organized by community member, Emily. (At her request, Emily’s last name has been omitted from this record).

“Peaceful demonstration was emphasized at the events I organized,” Emily said. “I would often let the other attendees know that we are demonstrating to act in solidarity with all black folks who have been harmed by an unjust system.

“The grassroots movement, which organized the events that took place in Alamosa, does not condone this violence,” she said. “The man who performed this unimaginable action does not reflect the values of myself or any of the other attendees.”

Since May 30, peaceful demonstrations have been organized in Alamosa almost every night. It is unclear whether the alleged shooter, James Marshall, was present at any previous demonstrations. Emily said she did not recall seeing him before last night. “The goal at our event was to maintain a peaceful presence,” Emily said. “If others were to try to agitate us, we were to ignore them and continue with peaceful demonstration. Violence was to be avoided to ensure that nothing would distract from the purpose of the protest, which was to fight for equal justice.”

Overall, the community responded positively to these demonstrations. “Several folks came up to us to thank us, a community member even brought us water,” Emily said. “We felt that the Alamosa citizens were with us, in the belief that all members of the nation should be treated with dignity and respect … that unnecessary police brutality is never the appropriate use of our tax dollars.”

Emily noticed something “odd” about Marshall’s demeanor. She explained, “His persona was off from the cohesion of the group I had experienced at the other events.” All previous attendees had maintained the peace, “Even when passersby would yell out profanities or use inappropriate hand gestures.” She said Marshall had “a somewhat aggressive demeanor and would often speak over myself and the other young women who were leading the chants.

” Recalling the shooting itself, Emily described the scene. “We were exiting the east crosswalk, on the corner of State and Main street. As we were exiting, a man driving a truck began to inch forward; into several individuals still exiting. “It all happened very quickly, but – as the man was inching forward into the crowd – the alleged shooter suddenly pulled out a handgun, pressed it up against the glass of the back, passenger window and shot into the vehicle. He then proceeded to run.” Several eyewitnesses claimed the driver, Pruitt, was inching into the crowd of protestors; before he was shot. However, the APD have not confirmed this detail. Regardless, both the protestors and the APD acknowledge the shooter’s actions were unnecessary and harmful to the overall cause.

“As we reflect on the violence that has swept our nation and now our own community it is natural and necessary for us all to take a moment to mourn,” Emily concluded. “We have had peaceful protests all week and I am heartbroken that this man disrupted what was a peaceful event. His actions were wrong.”

The City of Alamosa has since reminded protestors of ordinances in order to safeguard rights while ensuring the safety of all. Read more on Page 6.

Long story short, a 27 year old defense attorney shot a 49 year old man in the head through his while he was driving past some protest blocking an intersection. I chose this one because "Emily" is a lying bitch who is attempting to justify the murder by saying he was inching into the crowd, before claiming the shooter ran off. The cops were thankfully able to identify the shooter and get him into custody.

No official word on the victim. According to a different article, he's in critical condition.

Well I guess tonight has shown pretty conclusively that Trump's instincts were right all along. He only wavered the night after the bunker news came out and it looked like he was off hiding somewhere while the country burned. Even his allies were getting nervous. He gassed them the next day and vincewalked over to the church, reset them from "we're coming for you drumpf" optics into "OMG HES HURTING US LOOK AT US JUST LOOK AT US ITS SO AWFUL WERE PEACEFUL JUST LOOK AT US" hysterics which to this day they've still not shaken out of.

I admit I was ready that night for him to take back all the cities with maximum force. But given the pre planned reaction of all the military coup members it's clear in retrospect that whole night was a trap that Trump was supposed to walk into leading to him ordering the military into the cities, a cascade of officers all publicly refusing, and the effective or possibly literal end of his Presidency.

You may not like Donald trump's opinions or ideas, but you have to respect his agility and instincts. No other man could survive that bullshit thrown at him.

EMTs were already pissed off at how they don't make enough for what they do from the $15/hr burger flipper fiasco; in any city where they aren't protected by cops, they're just literally not going to show up to dangerous situations and will only collect bodies, not injured people. And if people don't like that, they'll fucking strike or walk out.

We don't call them libtards for nothing.

I talked to one today and the part that stood out to me

"OMG did you see Trump order to fire teargas on those peaceful protesters just for a photo op?"

"Where abouts?"

"The Church, the burnt down one"

"How were they peaceful protesters if the Church was burnt down?"

"a-..."

It's literally brainwashing... propaganda. Because it comes from sources they trust, they just believe it out of hand. They don't even realize what they are saying.

the police is one of the few unions that can't strike in any meaningful way. They can call out sick but i don't know if they can do it en masse.

Sure can if the entire chain of command does too. What's the police commission/city hall gonna do, fire the entire PD? You just need everyone to be on side.

The other option is that they just stop going to calls. Just show up and do nothing. That works too.

I first heard this theory in a paul reed smith (prs) interview about making acoustic guitars, where does it originate?

It comes from the real observation that societies that need to deal with seasonal variation have to plan ahead. It is an effort to explain why the African human phenotype has a difficult time grasping the concept of "time" through a sociological explanation rather then a genetic.

It has been noticed that africans in particular have a very hard time grasping the concept of "the future". Basically the effect resulting from the cause. What comes after. And what comes after that. More horrifyingly, linguists noticed that African languages dont even have words for the future tense. They can explain past events present events and events that are happening presently because of past events. But there is no linguistic translation for the idea of "this is yet to happen but will". Or in simple English, "inevitability". "Inevitable" is a word that can be translated into western and Asian languages. But not african.

This is observed by people on the ground noting that Africans have a hard time showing up on time for anything. That it is nigh impossible to get them to plan for the future. And in the case of criminality, how they happily act on immediate impulse no matter the obvious long term negative consequences.

In a desperate attempt to say there is not a genetic or cognitive flaw in the African mind, western social scientists instead claim that this lack of ability to plan ahead and properly conceptualize time is a result of their societies developing in a tropical environment. If you dont need to worry about winter, planning ahead is not needed and so there is no selection against it.

So does anyone actually have any info on what BLM is doing with this money they’re getting from everyone?
Celebrating for defeating the racists.
