There's something profoundly awful about the British (or Irish) accent combined with ebonics. Maybe it's because as a Canadian I'm conditioned to view the English accent (RP specifically) as "whiter than white" , but that variant of the accent produces a strong "uncanny valley" sense, like something's been usurped. It's one of the many reasons I can't stand the recent Doctor Who seasons.

Neoliberalism is an economic policy. That being said, there are no neoliberal communists because neoliberalism is all about laissez-fair capitalism. There is however a large overlap between neoliberalism and progressive political ideology, so the poster you are replying to isn't completely wrong about what he said.

This really is an Uncle Ted moment, isn't it? I doubt anyone could be less surprised by these events than him.

How does no one participating in this seem to find it incredibly odd that they have so much support for their supposedly controversial cause among the elites? They just can't seem to see it that way. In their minds they're these brave scrappy rebels even though they've basically got corporate sponsors at this point.

And the elites might be donating to these groups but I don't see how that's relevant, there are plenty of elites with different agendas who finance astroturfing such as Anti-Lockdown protests in US. We can't influence the elites and their donations, we can only challenge a group funded by them so this is a complete distraction.

not to be too much of a psychopath, but if i was say Amazon or some other large company, i would start my own security company and be advertising as much as possible to these cops, like get the unions directly involved. they're disgruntled and would love a way out, plus Amazon has enough locations that need some form of security, and they wouldn't have to deal with the public ever again. hell they could use them to investigate fraud and theft and have their own police force, give the PMCs a run for their money like they're doing with USPS, UPS, and Fedex when it comes to the mail
