She blogged about making homemade yarrow tinctures so maybe it's yarrow she smeared on her face because she thought that would do something. lol the skin is a barrier not a sponge. If skin was as absorbent as crunchies claim your clothes would be absorbed into your skin. Even a lot of herbs and natural supplements you ingest probably don't work because they are unable to survive the stomach acid. There is no replacement for a healthy lifestyle and I doubt there ever will be. Humans evolved to get a lot of excercise and eat a lot of plants.

The way she talks about seeing her dying grandpa is extremely fucked up and possibly sociopathic. She only pretends to care a bit because it fits in with her liberal beliefs in support of extended social services and public healthcare. You can tell she has a disregard for his suffering and existence.
The dying from a weeping tumor thing is exactly why it was morally wrong of you to minimize your own mother's cancer diagnosis. Cancer can often lead to a terrible death and body horror even you would not flick your bean to. The tumor does not always stay inside your body. It also brings greater existential angst than you have ever faced in your life. In cancer, your very own cells which make up your body/YOU are betraying and killing you.
"Looks like you're off to the races" is the nicest thing I think a human being could honestly say about your appearance. He is charitable and funny. Sucks he has such an unloving and unappreciative granddaughter. May the Gods bless that man.

I’m late on this but I truly don’t understand the urge to shove potentially upsetting/disruptive shit in the face like wearing a “queer” shirt to see a dying man.
It would be one thing if he were like, alive and well and they were close and she had a serious girlfriend and wanted him to meet her, even knowing that he may struggle to “get” it or approve. It’s another entirely to wear a shirt specifically to make a dying man feel uncomfortable. It’s so bizarrely selfish and chip-on-the-shoulder-y.

I spend most of my day around LGBT people, and a lot of trans people in particular. I've introduced all of them to Stephanie and shown them her own posts pertaining to gender and sexuality, and they've all come to the same conclusion: that she's a liar and trying to worm into the community for brownie points on her oppression card.
