I am convinced none of these people have even taken first aid training. I dunno if it was just my high school, but we were taught how to perform first aid on pretty much any injury you could think of- all the degrees of burns, broken limbs, scrapes, gunshot wounds, head injuries, you fucking name it, we learned it. I am 99% sure that the dipshit freshmen who I took the class with could have treated these guys more efficiently and competently than any of these Antifa "medics".

Because libertarians want personal freedoms and will defend people's rights to have opinions and say what they want.

Sad part is that there are cops who agree that what happened to George Floyd was wrong and that the (peaceful) protestors have valid concerns. However, the idea of "ACAB" and defunding all police probably makes it more tempting to become blackpilled -- even for those that still look at the situation objectively.

My state wants to push through legislation that would allow (or maybe require?) police to intervene in situations such as the George Floyd one. I see this as a potential slippery slope and something that could easily get politicized or used for personal vendettas.

In $CURRENT_YEAR, it's considered wrong to ask "activists" where their donations are going. We have posts about artists, grifters, and e-beggers who constantly demand money but find it -ist of some sort to have people ask for financial accountability even if it's a valid question or concern.

In addition to this, one day won't make a dent in the overall numbers/economy. I did some approximations and a one-day boycott using their $1.2 Trillion number comes out to an impact of roughly $6.6 million per state in one day. In larger states such as Texas, California, and New York, that number is likely a drop in the bucket that would barely cause a blip -- especially in light of the two months (or more) of shutdowns resulting from COVID-19.

Similar to what @ConsoleWarVet said, it's no different than those that sent out e-mails imploring their friends not to buy gas on a certain day in an attempt to drive down the price. It may sound nice, but it's impractical and won't work as intended due to the nature of macroeconomics.

It isn't that they are cowering, it's that they are saying they are cowering as a way to get sympathy in the public eye. Whether it works or not is beside the point because CNN and their ilk will play it up sympathetically regardless of what actually happened . It's about causing more scrutiny to the cops. If they do nothing, they are worthless and ineffective, if they act and do regular riot control stuff they are power drunk monsters. Whomever is running the riots will call in simps, hu-white guilt cucks, race traitor whores, and every groid and sheboon around to come en mass to cover and deflect attention from what they're actually doing. The antifa soy boys, or deep state agents, or soros dudes fronting as antifa or whatever use the "protesters" as shields and mass misdirection to start fires, break shit, violence some folks, whatever; the cops catch wind of it and stay on edge because you never know who has a roman candle or a shiv or whatever, so when a groid crowd forms the cops don't know if they'll chimp for real or just beat chests and shit talk. It's pretty clever actually, but only works because the media is on their side and the corporate world is on their side for fear of being sacked and burned by the LARPers, the hate mob, the literal groid mobs, and having countless articles published defaming them.

TL;DR
It's alligator tears to have fewer cops with less harsh measures and have the public on their side.

Because Libertarianism is technically a right wing ideology, and it's strongly opposed to Marxism/socialism. Anything not left wing = fascist, according to social media. I got into a debate with quite a few Redditards and who argued that Libertarians are fascists, and I was downvoted for bringing up that Libertarianism by its very definition is the total opposition to a centralized government, which means it's not authoritarian in the slightest bit. Their only retorts were, "Shut up, Nazi! Just admit you hate PoC and GTFO! Take your racist Ayn Rand arguments back to Stormfront!"

With the other guy admitting he punched the driver first, this guy is getting off scott free.
