The problem with that though is that his country's ideals and culture eventually probably will die out if his home field gets salted and burned due to the fact that his children or their children will sooner or later get assimilated into his 'host' country's culture etc. On the flip side, if they do maintain their culture somehow, they become a parasite in the country they fled to if said country has a different ideological system or culture, a la migrants in the EU. And yeah, both parties are two cheeks on the same hemorrhoid riddled ass called modern politics, where it doesn't matter how smart or right you are, but how much you can virtue signal and shame the huite man. There's no right or wrong answer to the patriotic defense question, both are shit.

It's as simple as advocating for people to move somewhere they already agree with. Don't go to someone else's land and start demanding they change because you fancy yourself a revolutionary coming to save the day. Just quietly move to where you're welcome and fit in, no one will be the wiser. The US is big enough for that, and every flavor of person lives here, and each region is its own "country". People have been taught about protesting and "change" since elementary school, not realizing you don't have to stand for a change. You can just go where you already belong and not try to make radical political changes for the "good" of the area. Honestly, there's no great fight left if there wasn't someone stoking the flames behind the scenes. It's all on a local level, not some great systemic issue that needs dealt with unless you're talking about ((())) which frankly, most people will never understand.
