I feel like a lot of women are "agreeable" in this way because of how we are socialized, at least in the west. Women are very judgemental and form hierarchies all the time. They also have a shit habit of not being particularly clear about why you're where you are in the hierarchy. They'll whisper and gossip and treat you like dirt for something that's often a non-issue, but you'll probably never know what it is. So we become agreeable and easily manipulated because we want to avoid that conflict, because agreeing with what sounds popular or what sounds "right" helps us gain social ranking without much effort.

Contrast that to most western men who will tell you when you're being a retard and why. They, in my experience, will engage in an actual discussion about the issue instead of vaguely pressuring you to change.

Obviously there's shit-eaters that are men and reasonable independent people that are women but these are just the trends I've noticed.

The social aspect is always there, and I'm sure that's part of it. I'm just not sure that's fundamentally different than saying "it's in our nature" when your observation surely holds true for most women, everywhere and throughout time.
