Yes he is, I just had an argument with him a few days ago where he tried to convince me "enviromental racism" is a thing. He's obsessed with the Sunrise and it's goals to the point where it's practically all he ever talks about. From what I understand his role in his particular chapter of the group is to make phone calls to local politicians, so when he discusses Sunrise it sounds like he's reading from a script. I've been trying to gently push him towards a more moderate stance on climate change, but when you question his beliefs he just kinda pauses, then just restates whatever his argument is. I love the guy and I could never bring myself to cut ties with him, but I really believe he's gotten himself involved with a cult.
