From what I saw earlier, someone on the council that is in some way deciding this called is "abolishing" in Minneapolis. I don't know that they've completely defined what they even mean by that. It could be a case of them not knowing what words mean, or they're purposefully muddying the waters as this is clearly all one big plan at this point. I don't think they want anyone to know what's happening exactly until the moment it happens, BUT, the police in these cities are clearly not happy and causing a ruckus behind closed doors. Hard to parse all the information as it comes.

They're "disbanding" the Minni police, which in their case really means they'll make a "new coke" version of the police in which they rehire the majority of the current force and very little changes. Focus on what you CAN change and realize that these people are still outnumbered, they're artificially more visible because their ideology is based on being seen to validate their faggot-ass ideals. There are lots and lots of people living quiet, honorable, kind lives but they're too busy cooking for their kids and chaperoning school dances to talk about the injustice of a 1600's indian burial ground within 1 mile of a casino.
Go explore the world or even your state a bit and you may find some good folks. Buy a motorcycle and take smaller roads and just say hi to small town folk in their gas stations. I've gotten a handful of small towns I can live quite happily in just by passing through and flirting with the waitress a bit.
The world hasn't lost its mind all at once, and even accelerated, there will be small pockets of righteous folk if you look for them. FWIW, you're best off focusing on bettering yourself and overcoming your weaknesses. The whole point of life is gaining experience and becoming a better person (if you don't believe that, just look at all the numerous religions that have come and gone, hard to say the collective knowledge of mankind is a bunch of bullshit if the 'real answer' is the "lol there's nothing" one.)
The only downside is that I find it hard to wanna build a family on the very shaky ground we have today. It'd be one thing to find a partner worth trusting, but the ubiquity of this alternative pseudo-theology they're brewing up means you risk infection in any house with internet or friends, and I can't stand living around homeschooled weirdos.
