That said, there were a few that definitely didn't like him; Obscurus Lupa by all accounts absolutely fucking loathed him and wanted him thrown off the site much sooner than he actually was, JesuOtaku and Nash had some rather understandable personal issues after he made some less-than-tasteful remarks about the former on Twitter, and Phelous and Nostalgia Chick were apparently of the "I like his work, but is he really worth all the drama?" viewpoint. There's also the dispute between him and LordKat, but I don't think that started until after the latter left TGWTG.

From what I understand, Obscurus Lupa and JesuOtaku are drama-queens (and JesuOtaku a bit of a lolcow herself apparently) and Nostalgia Chick is an SJW. So I'm not sure if there were actual problems (wouldn't surprise me if there was) or if it was just them being catty and bitchy with each other because their egos clashed.

It would no doubt surprise fans who thought they were normal, well-adjusted people. Really though, this may as well be how the e-fame gets them. Once they have had a good taste of it, they'd want more and their secrets get revealed, especially the secrets that can show the hypocrisy some of these people have.

From what I know about JesuOtaku, she dated Nash, who not only bought them a house, but also bought her a lot of expensive electronic equipment. Then Nash's father got sick and when he had to go move in with him to take care of him, JO dumped him by saying she was in love with someone else (it's assumed to be the guy she's with now) and she moved to California. This is going from memory, so a couple details might be incorrect there, but that's the gist of what I've read.
She also posts sometimes in the SA internet critic thread, mostly getting into arguments with one other poster instead of blocking him like a normal person, and writing long screeds about her theories on how an anime is sexist/not sexist.

Wow...so Spoony tying her up in his basement would have spared Nash alot of pain and money....

From what i know on what caused spoony to get kicked out, obscura and many of that hated his guts and would have done anything to be rid of him. So when spoony was in a bout of depression and wrote his wishing I was a dog tweet, lupa found the opportunity to basically send spoony over the edge. Sadly she was successful.

I was actually following TGWTG during that entire Spoony fiasco. I believe Linkara may have said something saying that he "supported" Spoony in the sense that he wanted him to get better. Basically, Linkara didn't take a side.

Honestly, this was probably the best choice. Spoony's falling out with CA was pretty horribly handled on both sides, and no one really came out the "better man" in the scenario.
