I was referring to the virtue-signaling efforts to teach poor blacks how to shop at farmer’s markets, cook and bake shit that costs more than they’d otherwise spend on food. Home-baked bread is delicious, but when you need to bring in more income and you can get a loaf of bread for $3-4 or less, pissing away time making bread makes no sense. (Unless baking is a source of needed relaxation and calm, for example.)Cooking is quick and easy so I don't understand your thing there. Home canning and pickling and shit, sure. But cooking in general, hell no.
That wasn’t what I claimed. My point is if I am living on the poverty line and can either spend 10 hours a week earning coin or tending a garden, making money makes a lot more sense.Nobody or almost nobody in the U.S. is starving because of lack of time to earn enough money to buy food.
Ok, how the fuck are they expecting to feed their commune with this?
Even if they won't get BTFO by NG and won't get their water and electricity cut off, they'll all starve to death, I guarantee it.This is how many potatoes I grow at my dacha:

I really have to weed them, I know.
This is usually enough to last me and my family a whole year (yes, only one family). And this is after I decided to downsize - usually I grow more than that.
I'm not showing other veggies I grow, but you get the point.
And even then I still go buy other food - I don't only eat potatoes and veggies after all.
Trump replaced or nominated a new air force general to chief of staff yesterday. Whereas Mattis just backstabbed him today so we all know where he stands. Esper as well is a traitor as well and has that neocon look to him. Maybe Trump sometime soon fires two of these fuckers when the time is right before the election. That was the trap this whole thing was set up for. They still think Trump is as authoritarian and proactive as his bluster makes him out to be. Trump is is very much an inverse of Teddy Roosevelt, he likes to speak big and imply there is a big stick just over there out of site.
You can see it with Mattis and the Air Force Commander, they were ready and went off expecting Trump to march on the cucks and coons as soon as he could get magazines loaded.
Instead he's looking reasonable to a lot of people. Not overstepping the Federal governments things while condemning the rioters and the lack of appropriate action on the local and State level.
So the people who hate this are agreeing with Trump and getting angry at the Democrats.
And hopeful it's true that things are settling down because Trump is rounding up the instigators who are going to rat out wherever this is coming from (Chinese glow in the darks[/tinfoil]).
Oh shit, I have one of those. Had no idea it was primarily for gardening.View attachment 1369163
Had to look this up so congrats CHAZ you taught me something new.

No need to worry everyone a bunch oflarge knivesgardening tools are about to be introduced to the mix.

You save so much money by cooking your own food compared to so-called "cheap food". A 6-piece chicken mcnuggets (just 3oz of chicken) costs $4 and a medium fries (4oz of potatoes) costs $2, meanwhile 1 lb of chicken from your local grocery store costs $8 and 2lbs of potatoes cost $4. It takes about 1 hour to cook all that chicken+potatoes and you have a week's worth of meals ready to go. If you really want to splurge you can buy some salt for an extra $2 and dump it all over your potatoes to really get the full McD's experience. "Cheap food" is a fucking scam that tricks obese morons.I assume you’re referring to low-income black people, not just random black people. For people who have the luxuries of time and price insensitivity, sure, subsistence gardening is great. But the rule of thumb for low-income people is to maximize available time and use it not to garden and cook but to bring in more income. It’s economically nonsensical to spend lots of time and energy gardening and cooking when cheap food is available all around you.
TL;DR — You can’t garden your way out of a financial black hole.

People in poverty aren’t working for fun, though. If I’m struggling and it’s a choice between $100 in my pocket to pay rent or whatever yield I’ll get from 10 hours of gardening this week, I’ll take the cash every time.Maybe from some pure utility perspective but if I can spend 10 hours puttering around at home doing something enjoyable or 10 hours at some shitty hellhole I hate, I'm picking something at home. Not many poverty wage jobs are particularly fun.
Who was saying otherwise ITT? The point is the cost/benefit of spending your limited time bringing in income or baking your own bread. If you understand why bringing in income is a better use of time than clipping coupons, you can grasp this too.As Anominous pointed out, almost no one in the US is starving due to not working enough hours.
hey hey people
Poorfags should git gud.Who was saying otherwise ITT? The point is the cost/benefit of spending your limited time bringing in income or baking your own bread. If you understand why bringing in income is a better use of time than clipping coupons, you can grasp this too.
They should do what will serve them best and help them escape poverty, which does not include jumping through the hoops the woke left lectures them to jump through. This is an economically illiterate nation, as this thread is reminding me.Poorfags should git gud.
Do you think people will actually fall for this crap, and believe that Trump is getting scared by literal fake news? The narrative-weaving with CHAZ is pretty easy because due to the lack of central leadership you get a torrent of mixed messages coming out of there which can be selectively interpreted.
