Doesn't seem like a bad guy but might be a good way to follow this mess.

Will this thread follow the Portland one, if that goes anywhere? We won't have warlord Raz, but perhaps something better can arise.

Power vacuums always get filled and the only things you need to be intimidating in one of these communes are biceps that aren't concave and hobbies other than crying on Twitter.

I don't know why people keep saying CHAZ is over, it's still going, people are still reporting/streaming from inside, and the barricade is still up. Pic from a few seconds ago:

A few hours ago there were 0 people at the barricade, now they have people watching and guarding it with bikes.

Unironically, something like this I feel would be great for the black community. Get a plot of land to use as a public farm and have lessons from qualified professionals to teach about it. Provide free planters and such to take home for black community members. In order to support local business, they could even have a deal with a black owned restaurant or such (cause realistically the output won't be much) to give away foods using the product.

It would be informative and community building, and most importantly it's constructive. A lot of these nutjobs only know how to destroy and not nurture and support something. I dunno, it makes too much sense I think.

The talk page continues to try making this sound totally serious and not an exercise in squatting by spoiled commies:

They're squatters on wikipedia too. I bet they squat this article long after Seattle itself squats and shits out their dumb gathering which is pretty much as encyclopedically notable as a dog turd on the sidewalk.

Yea here's some archives of the tweets in question

I'm not convinced this guy isn't a /pol/ shitposter of some kind.

I assume you’re referring to low-income black people, not just random black people. For people who have the luxuries of time and price insensitivity, sure, subsistence gardening is great. But the rule of thumb for low-income people is to maximize available time and use it not to garden and cook but to bring in more income. It’s economically nonsensical to spend lots of time and energy gardening and cooking when cheap food is available all around you.

TL;DR — You can’t garden your way out of a financial black hole.

No need to worry everyone a bunch of large knives gardening tools are about to be introduced to the mix.
Is that from that found footage movie? The one with pidgeons and ectoplasm? based.
Honestly I appreciate that black dude trying to grow things and stuff, seems like you could've a decent conversation with him. Everyone could benefit from gardening both physically and mentally.

Learn to fix a tractor, make $20/hr. Fuck around planting shit by hand, maybe get some bug-eaten lumpy produce in three months.

Gardening never adds up to anything productive or game-changing. It's a hobby. Nothing more.

Cooking is quick and easy so I don't understand your thing there. Home canning and pickling and shit, sure. But cooking in general, hell no.

I suggest cotton, it might reconnect them to the culture of their ancestors.

Nobody or almost nobody in the U.S. is starving because of lack of time to earn enough money to buy food. Unless you're homeless or without any space at all you'd be better off for doing a little gardening or at least just having a couple plants. A lot of poor people are just globally incompetent at any kind of economic activity.

someone wanna redpill me on the hori hori, is it a meme knife or useful

t. vegetable gardener

It's very good for correcting shitlords on your proper pronouns I'm sure.
