Last regg stream was 4 days ago, if the doesn't even stream them anymore i guess it died down so much so it's not worth covering... From his latest stream there seem to not be that much people out in the streets protesting.

There's a few, but they've just been regular protests for the last week, no real riots. Some looting but they aren't broadcasting it any more. Even the protests are getting smaller. The only real destructive stuff happening is the monument defacing, which you've probably seen elsewhere.

Woke.net maintains a list of streams, or you can watch their multi-stream on twitch. But even that is dominated by the CHAZ streams now, since it's the most interesting thing happening.

True but lots of people who actually run a farm these days have a degree in agriculture or something related.

Most farmers I know got degrees in Agribusiness so they can manage the books better. The day-to-day operation of the farm is old hat to them (they've been doing it their whole lives) and the particulars a slow evolution through generations of applied science.

The agri-science people mostly end up working for farm services companies. The seed, fertilizer, and soil experts who are advisors to the farmers and do a lot of stuff on the development side. New strains and techniques and equipment and so on.

It's already been posted, but I'll respond to this because I've had time to think about it.
The Roman's testudo could defend against the most powerful infantry weapons of the time, spears and arrows. They could be defeated by the artillery of the time but that would be difficult to aim at such a mobile group.
The protester's formation defends them from pepper spray/pepper balls (and even then I doubt it's effectiveness at doing that) and maybe some other low-force anti-personnel countermeasures. It doesn't nullify all of the infantry weapons of the day, all it does is makes the police and NG have to resort to higher force countermeasures when they need to stop them. It literally only makes things worse for everyone in the group.

They took it from the Hong Kong protestors, who would likely receive more international support if the Chinese had escalated things. It would work on a tactical level for them. Either they don't escalate and they are protected or they escalate and their cause gets forwarded at the cost of their personnel well being, both of which can be considered victories for the Hong Kongers. The international support for the BLM rioters is considerably lower and there is no realistic change of say China sanctioning the US over them, even if we did a full crackdown.

Another big emerging issue is regulatory compliance especially in environments that cause difficulties complying with vague or contradictory federal/state regulation, and also working the bullshit subsidies/insurance/other shit so that they can still stay in business when shit absolutely goes wrong on the ground. I might know an odd cross section of ag people but it's a growing number who need to be more sophisticated businesswise.
