From The Guardian: " Black Lives Matters activists say hate groups plan to target protests and ‘defend memorials’ "

“We want the protests to be a safe space for people to attend,” a post from the BLM LDN organisers said. “However, we don’t think it will be possible with people like them present.”

people like them

The Express, with a bit more info

From what I can see the only threat was that a group of dumpy white men would crowd around war memorials/monuments and would actively defend them from any protester who wished to deface them. Given the police are taking the view that preventing such acts would see an escalation in violence, this is something that will only increase.

I knew from the Broxbourne protest the people who go to these are largely easily hurt buttercups who'll say they feared for their lives over getting some real verbal push back, but what did they think would happen after the fuckers stupidly published a list of 60 statues/monuments they were going to target as they apparently celebrated slavery. Though their idea of celebrating slavery is just someone who did something which was accepted practice at the time of their existence, most people wouldn't know about those connections, and I absolutely refuse to believe these people have been living their lives knowing this background until they decided to go about scorching history.

This fits to what Tim Pool posted

I guess we have reached the boiling point for the disenfranchised "normie" people. Because at one point the demagogues take it too far to tolerate it. I mean taking of famous movies or books because of "race" (wahtever the fuck that actually means) is already on par with Nazis. What's next? Banning certain art ways because they are - and i use the German term here because it sounds harder - entartet? Way to go idiots. Loose all sympathy because the Internet works both ways. You can post About your good deeds all you want but your bad deeds will haunt you for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. Where is the Gestapo when you need it?

Her boyfriend also shot first and actually hit a cop which is what prompted the hail of bullets.

I heard that, but to be fair to the guy - he probably thought he was getting robbed.

The situation was fucked, I don't think it was murder - but someone's lack of thoroughness cost a life and injured others.

IMAGINE thousand of years of evolution, and Antifa not being able to compete with basic cavemens skills for survival...

Oh my god they think Animal Crossing is real. Just drop it on the ground, water it once a day with your can, and then go off to collect shells and barter with a raccoon.

Are the statues going to be kept safely somewhere or are they just going to be destroyed? I don't want them pulled down in general but full on destruction would be worse.
Haven't a clue. A grade I listed structure is legally protected from destruction, but I wouldn't put it past them to "accidentally" drop it in a giant furnace or something similar.

Hmm the UK is quite busy today

Who wants a race war?
Outrage at posters in Dundee calling for police, MPs and white people to be killed

The posters have sparked fury.
Inflammatory posters calling for white people, police officers and MPs to be killed have sparked fury in Dundee.
The flyer were discovered by a shocked dogwalker, who was strolling through Baxter Park.
Among the messages on the posters were “kill a white on sight”, “if they don’t stop kill a cop”, and “all white MPs should hang from trees”.
The man, who did not wish to be named, said: “I was walking the dog when I removed these signs from the glass windows on the pavilion.

“I went to have a closer look as there has been a lot of A4 signs about the park recently regarding BLM, but nothing this extreme.
“There was one more about kids but I could not peel off so I removed what I could.
“Like I said there has been a lot of signs going but nothing this bad.”
The flyers, which purport to be from campaigners Black Lives Matter and anti-fascist group Antifa, come weeks after the death of George Floyd in police custody in Minneapolis, in the US.

Outrage and protests have spread across the world, with demonstrations also taking place in the UK.
But, despite the flyers being emblazoned with hashtags appearing to support Black Lives Matter and Antifa, one local campaigner insists that someone else is responsible.
Joy Gansh, a local BLM activist, believes the display was created by people trying to discredit the movement.
She said: “Things like that, after what happened with the George Floyd mural being defaced, I think that’s something that a white supremacist would put up to discredit us.
“Nobody that I’ve seen advocating for the BLM movement would think that that is appropriate.
“My personal opinion is that this is people being framed.
“This is a way to make us seem in the wrong.”
The art student, who plans to organise a BLM march in Dundee soon, believes that “white supremacists” are using false posters to encourage violence.
“People that hold those kinds of beliefs aren’t part of this movement,” she added.
“This seems like a way to stop us in our tracks and make us seem violent so they can come back with violence.
“We aren’t here for violence, we’re just here for justice and equality in all aspects of life.”

Joy Gansh.

The incident comes amid simmering tensions between BLM and their opponents both locally and globally.
Earlier this week, a mural depicting George Floyd in the Hilltown, was defaced with white supremacist graffiti.
A form of the Celtic Cross, commonly used by the KKK, was used to obscure Floyd’s face, and his name was daubed with paint.
The vandals also scored out the word “black” in “black lives matter”.
Members of the local Antifa group responded within hours by covering the graffiti with their own logos.

Dundee graffiti artist Simon Matheson, also known as Syke, had shown his support for the Black Lives Matter movement by painting a portrait of George Floyd in the Hilltown. The mural was vandalised/defaced but has now been fixed.
The Dundee Anarchist Bookfair, who supported the Antifa movement in the past, also believed the posters to be the work of people looking to discredit BLM.
A spokesman for the group said: “We’ve been sent photos of the posters and stickers in question from concerned parties and we are confident that this is far right false flag propaganda; someone, or a local far right group, is trying to invalidate the concerns from the Black Lives Matter campaign.
“As well documented by now, BLM are concerned with police violence towards the black American community and other ethnic minorities which has stemmed from systemic racism.

“A genuine BLM activist would not single out someone’s skin colour to talk about police violence and they certainly wouldn’t claim to be Antifa.
“The concerns of the BLM campaign are very similar to anti fascist values but Antifa aren’t associated with BLM.”

Dundee’s Churchill plaque vandalised with four-letter graffiti amid racism debate

A plaque commemorating the centenary of Winston Churchill’s election as MP for Dundee has been vandalised in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests.
The bronze plaque, which adorns the side of Meadowside St Paul’s Church on the Nethergate, has been daubed with cream-coloured paint.
Underneath, vandals have written a four-letter swear word directed at the ex-PM.
The plaque was erected in 2008 to mark 100 years since Churchill was elected MP for Dundee.

The plaque dedicated to Sir Winston Churchill was defaced with paint. (Photo courtesy of Chloe Mitchell).
Initially well-liked, his popularity dipped in the post-war years and he left the city, as he wrote, “without an office, without a seat, without a party and without an appendix”.
In London, the statue of Churchill was marked with slogans calling him racist by BLM activists. Similar motivations are thought to be behind the graffiti on the Nethergate.
Critics say that, despite being on the right side of history, Churchill believed in racial supremacy, telling a commission in 1937 that he saw nothing wrong with “a stronger race, a higher-grade race” moving in and replacing native populations in America and Australia.

The wartime prime minister has also been criticised for his perceived inaction to prevent millions of deaths in India’s 1943 Bengal Famine.
Local Chloe Mitchell, who spotted the graffiti and sent the photos in, said she could understand why someone had scrawled on the plate.
“It may appear as vandalism to some people but it is highlighting a very important question in our society: why do we have memorials of genocidal dictators?
“It is not the job of local citizens to expose statues that highlight the racism the British empire was built on.

“However until our councils listen and take permanent action to have these monuments removed, spray paint and tomato passata will do.”
BLM protesters across the UK and abroad have been calling for monuments to problematic historical figures to be removed in the wake of George Floyd’s death in the US last month.
Locals in Bristol pulled down the statue of slave trader Edward Colston following years of debate over whether he should be honoured, while London has removed a statue of slaver Robert Milligan following a review commissioned by the mayor Sadiq Khan.

An episode of Fawlty Towers famous for coining the phrase “Don’t mention the war!” has become the latest classic British TV programme to be taken down from a BBC-owned streaming service, as broadcasters continue to conduct a reappraisal of old content.
The episode of the 1970s sitcom – in which John Cleese as Basil Fawlty goose-steps around a Torquay hotel while shouting the phrase – was recently removed from the BBC-controlled UKTV catch-up service.
A spokesperson for UKTV initially refused to clarify why the programme had been removed or whether the decision was permanent: “We aren’t commenting on individual titles. However, we regularly review our programmes, and make edits, add warnings and make schedule changes where necessary to ensure that our channels meet the expectations of our audience.”

However, following the publication of this article they confirmed it was under review because the episode “contains racial slurs”.

The original broadcast included a scene in which Major Gowen, a regular guest at the hotel, uses very strong racist language in relation to an anecdote about the West Indies cricket team. A decade ago many broadcasters began editing out this part of the programme, although the racist language can still be heard on the version hosted by Netflix.

The Fawlty Towers episode in question, first shown in 1975, also features Cleese’s bigoted character apparently shocked at being treated in hospital by a black doctor.

The 11 other episodes of Fawlty Towers remain available to stream on UKTV’s paid catch-up service, which is delivered through pay TV partners such as Sky, Virgin Media and BT, along with standalone services such as Now TV.

Growing scrutiny over historic racism in archive entertainment programmes is prompting broadcasters to check their back catalogues and respond to criticism of shows that were once considered to be family entertainment.
There has been a substantial uptick in the attention paid to such issues as a result of the global Black Lives Matter movement, which is forcing media companies around the world to address racism within their organisations and in the output they produce and continue to publish.

The BBC is reviewing programmes to check whether they comply with modern editorial standards and expectations, a process that has already led to the hit 2000s sitcom Little Britain being removed from its iPlayer catch-up service in the wake of scrutiny over the use of blackface by its stars, David Walliams and Matt Lucas. The Little Britain follow-up show Come Fly With Me has also been taken down.

While traditional TV channels used to simply quietly stop repeating old shows that were no longer considered appropriate, the advent of streaming means catch-up services need to constantly reassess their back catalogues, attracting publicity in the process.

Netflix has pulled the BBC programmes Mighty Boosh and League of Gentlemen from its service due to them featuring instances of blackface, although a BBC spokesperson confirmed that both programmes remained available on the iPlayer service.

This week the Oscar-winning film Gone With the Wind was temporarily removed from the US-based streaming service after protests over its depiction of slavery.

HBO responded to criticism of the film with a statement saying: “These racist depictions were wrong then and are wrong today, and we felt that to keep this title up without an explanation and a denouncement of those depictions would be irresponsible.”

The streaming service added that the film would return to the platform accompanied by “a discussion of its historical context and a denouncement of those very depictions”, but would remain unaltered “because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed”.

Last year BritBox, the catch-up service that promises the best of classic British TV, said it would not include some previously popular programmes that would now be considered racist, such the BBC’s Till Death Us Do Part and ITV’s Love Thy Neighbour.

Streaming services are increasingly introducing warnings at the start of programmes alerting viewers to historic depictions of racism or language that viewers would not expect to find in a modern programme.

Might be late on this one it's already archived.

Can we call it a cultural revolution yet? is this cultural marxism?

Oh and Stuff is happening from our overlords

Boris Johnson: Anti-racism protests 'hijacked by extremists'

Boris Johnson has claimed anti-racism protests in the UK have been "hijacked by extremists intent on violence".
The prime minister said it was "absurd and shameful" that a statue of Sir Winston Churchill was "at risk of attack" by protesters.

Referring to the Black Lives Matter demonstrations sparked by the death of George Floyd in the US, Mr Johnson concluded a series of tweets by saying "the only responsible course of action is to stay away from these protests".

He wrote: "We cannot now try to edit or censor our past.
"We cannot pretend to have a different history. The statues in our cities and towns were put up by previous generations."

The statement posted on Mr Johnson's Twitter page said: "The statue of Winston Churchill in Parliament Square is a permanent reminder of his achievement in saving this country - and the whole of Europe - from a fascist and racist tyranny.

"It is absurd and shameful that this national monument should today be at risk of attack by violent protestors.

Black Lives Matter: Violent protesters 'could be jailed within 24 hours' under government plans

Violent protesters could be jailed within 24 hours under government plans to fast-track cases, reports suggest.

The move comes ahead of possible demonstrations this weekend in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

According to The Times, anybody caught vandalising, causing criminal damage or assaulting police officers could be processed quickly through magistrates' courts with extended opening hours.

Home Secretary Priti Patel and Justice Secretary Robert Buckland have put forward the measure based on the response to the 2011 riots in London, the paper suggests.

The majority of protests in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, sparked by the killing of George Floyd in police custody in the US, have been peaceful.

But there have been pockets of violence, with the National Police Chiefs' Council (NPCC) saying that more than 130 people have been arrested in the protests.

More than 155,000 people have taken part in almost 200 demonstrations, according to the NPCC, adding that 62 police officers have been injured.

Turns out the UK is at 62 injured police officers, not bad for peaceful protests...

Europeans talking about the treatment of African Americans: 😇😇😇

Europeans talking about the treatment of gypsies: 💀🔫🔪

Well thay's because they don't have to suffer African AMERICANS. Seriously, most african migrants here in spain are fine enough. And the ones that aren't get shipped to france anyway (or they get stuck in catalonia) so what most people see is the good ones. Muslims are different 'cause those fucks are actual terrorists. No seriously just last week 2 yihadis were busted. Can't fucking unlearn why you hate them when every couple days the cops gotta go knock on their door again before they blow shit up! But point is. Africans=/=African Americans. Your niggas are way worse than ours. And the bad black migrants that are truly shit like somalis for the most part go straight to USA instead of here 'cause to get to spain you gotta get through morocco first and good luck with that if you're somali.

But gypsies? Fuck gypsies. Those criminal bastards keep pulling the worst shit. Their entire culture is based on backstabbing, tretchery, nepotism and greed, it's like jews but significantly less subtle. But I must admit, as other threads here on the farms were witness to, I became significantly more accepting of Gypsies after learning just how bad amerimutts get. Like... I don't think a single european nation actually has a real concept of a group of people THAT debased, childish, lacking in respect and responsibility, and generally shit. Even fucking Gypsies over here are held accountable to some degree. They're just good at dodging punishment but we eventually get some of them to some degree and that keeps them, well at least generally non-violent, since violent crimes are much harder to get out of jail free than non-violent ones. When I first learned just how high the rate of VIOLENT crimes was for amerimutts I became really fucking racist for a while. It's just not something eurofags can comorehend before witnessing it really. Even on france and god knows they have the worst of the bunch (thanks in a big way to us spaniards. You're welcome you fucking baguettes.) Don't get that bad a buncha nogs.

Not that I know of. What makes it worse is that there's security cam footage of George resisting arrest as officers attempt to get him into the driver's side of the vehicle. Then there's apparently no footage of anything followed by several different angles of him face down on the ground on the other side of the vehicle. So what happened in between?

Medical emergency likely started in the rear of the vehicle after he was inside, and they pulled him through the other side to extricate him to open his airway/monitor him.

London is fucked. Birmingham is probably fucked, other "melting pot" cities are probably fucked.

Off-topic, but did the Muzzies in Birmingham ever agree to the faggot indoctrination the rest of the country's schoolchildren are getting?

That huge shitstorm in 2019, so big it even got discussed over here in burgerland, ended with the gubbimint temporarily doing something or other to appease the mob, but vowing the classes would be required eventually. Then, nothing. Not a word I can find in the past six months. 🤔

Media dropped it like a live grenade when they realised it was muslims protesting. They won't cover it again unless they can spin it as either native bigots, or as some sort of anti-muslim issue.

Oh, right, go ahead and rename some technical slang which has no meaning on its own. I'm sure rewriting metric tons of manuals to "fix" this "problem" will be all worth it.
remember when this was about some crack head named george and police brutality?

Oh my god they think Animal Crossing is real. Just drop it on the ground, water it once a day with your can, and then go off to collect shells and beg for forgiveness from a coon.

It is never them, it is always someone else. Always a white someone else. Those damn white supremacists!! They're everywhere.

Or maybe... and go with me here, maybe you need to police your movement. Maybe there are people in your movement that are insane and want to kill people for bigoted, racist reasons. And maybe you need to deal with it sooner rather than later because otherwise I'm going to suspect that you do know about these elements, you do sanction their beliefs, and you're just playing a shell game until you can get enough power to actually kill people like your group keeps saying they want to do.

Well nobody that I know says those things.

But they keep saying them. For years now. Or is this some meta exercise where you can dance around and say: "Huuur it's just like how black people were saying for years that all the cops are violent thugs!" before you shoot me in the back of the head for being white, straight and conservative.

Frankly, at this point, trading trash for raccoon-scavenged food seems to be a much better option over whatever the hell they are trying to do with that plant-torture facility.
