IIRC, the defendants did try to put some sort of limited confidentiality in place, and then they put forward heavily edited and redacted versions of the transcripts, e.g. only the parts that make Vic look bad, but Ty was like "lawl you can't enforce this" and leaked the full, uncensored videos to Nick.

Don't ask me how the confidentiality was supposed to work. I think it was made intentionally obtuse, in order to cow the plaintiff's team into doing nothing. Fortunately, Tyrone's momma didn't raise no bitch.

It wasn't unclear. It was to prevent the simultaneous leaking of the livestream of the deposition that was only being taken so that other lawyers and witnesses not in the deposition could watch it while it was ongoing, since it isn't a huge room and you wouldn't want witnesses coaching each other through gestures or whatever.

Also, leaking that livestream would moot any later attempt to file a protective order or something to seal the deposition, or negotiate some further confidentiality agreement later. That never happened. Had the defendants wanted that, or cared about it enough to file a motion, well, Chupp would have just ignored the motion but whatever. There's no ambiguity here, the defendants are just lying because they didn't like the outcome.

It was absolutely silent as to the official record in the case, which is the videotaped deposition that was actually given to Nick. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having given it to Nick, or with Nick having posted it and even with all their incessant squalling and bitching they never filed any kind of motion or did anything real to contest this completely legitimate action.

They're just angry their own idiotic discovery abuse blew up in their face and made them look like shit, at their own expense because Chupp chopped their ludicrous fee request, which was largely so inflated because of their insistence in pointless discovery before their TCPA motion. Sucks to be them.

I think this is Ron 3's mom talking to Ron 4 (in another comment, she tells "Joe" that he should not worry about the fights of the adults and should only worry about teenager stuffs like girls, and cars, and so on, so "Joe" must be Ron 4) and the reply to that comment is very likely Ron 2 telling to his wife about their son, Ron 3, being self righteous.

Oh, shit, you're right, that avatar doesn't match Ron's kid's avatar. Similar color scheme in itty-bitty space, that's why I got confused (next to the fact they have the exact same damn Facebook handle). Ron IV seems to be going by "Joe", which I guess shouldn't be all that surprising.

Still, replying to your own wife on Facebook on a public comment showing you are practically disowning your junior by disparagingly referring to him as "your son" just tells me no one talks to each other face-to-face in private in that family anymore. No wonder everyone sounds fucked in the head.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around Ron being more mad at Nick and Ty for leaking the names of these women (which they didn't do), than he is at Vic for allegedly assaulting them.

Nothing says "I'm hiding something." more than refusing to answer a question that could very easily shed truth to it. If he's not scared, why won't he answer a simple question? It's because clearly, any answer he could possibly give would be contradictory to his narrative that everything is everyone else's fault except for his and Monica's.

Mm...what a great way to accept responsibility for your shitty abusive behavior. Oh man, he's such a shining pinnacle of a reformed abuser.
