Are these fucking monkeys aware that a big number of media they wank it to is about revenge and the person on it succeeding in doing so without it being portrayed in the bad light? Red Dead: Revolver did it and none of them bitched, and let us not forget how happy everyone was about Jack snuffing Ross in Redemption. This game does it and they turn into preachy moralfags.

TLoU2's story will always be shit to me, but this is just pathetic.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Joel dies in the first 2 hours. His death is so horribly rushed like Druckman couldn't wait to kill him off. The gameplay that uploaded his death got taken down unfortunately.

Do people here think we'll see a consumer revolt where the majority of players make a big hubbub over the game's botched story and execution (pun intended) or will it be drowned out by the bugmen saying "omg qweer poc and trans representation, goty 2020"?

This games been in development for what, 7 years? How much do you want to bet Druckmann wrote that line when idiots were still screeching about Chick-Fil-A and thought somehow 5 years down the line everyone would still be pissed about CFA?

The thing is that, even WITH the shitty representation, if the game isn't fun or enjoyable by any means, none of it will matter.
Lefties clamor for Life is Strange and Night in the Woods because, even if they're pandering walking-simulators, they at least have comforting nothingburger stories with no real darkness or bleakness. Sure, they'll throw in melodramatic conflict, but it won't be something heavy or too much for their little tumblr-stunted brains to handle.

TLOU 2 is bleak, nhilistic, at times sadistic, violent, upsetting, and features beating a fucking pregnant woman as a major game event. Along with killing doggos, which EVERYONE hates regardless of their political affilation.

This isn't a Last Jedi where it's so bland and corporate in its political message. This is a fucking rated M game designed to make you uncomfortable and piss you off, something without pretty colors and beanmouths that tumblr and twitter can't slobber over.

So no, I don't think anyone but hardcore stubborn gamergate retards will like this game. It's for no one and pleases no one. It is the blackpill of game titles in the modern era, utterly devoid of a purpose or reason to exist as a form of entertainment based on the principles of what a video game is supposed to be.

You know what strikes me about this even moreso now that the release is coming up? We've already established that the game forcing you to play as Abby, a character the player is going to hate because she murders Joel, as she pounds Dina's face into pavement is insane and fucked up, but now it's come out that Abby's been doing a cross-country roadtrip murdering anyone named Joel.

So the game is asking us to sympathize with an outright serial killer who then proceeds to almost kill a pregnant woman. It's honestly quite hilarious in how tasteless and tone-deaf it is.

Abby has all the potential to become one of the most despicable, hated game characters of all time. And that's amazing.
