Christ these people are fucking idiots. I like them accusing people of historical illiteracy while not even knowing what a Nazi salute looks like and hallucinating it where it doesn't exist.

Oakland, CA is big enough that the lines between residential and urban are kinda blurred. Temescal is close enough to downtown to justify fancy new skyscraper apartments, but it's still considered residential. Telegraph in general is a main street so it's lined with shops. I think the streets were blocked off to allow protest.

Is it me, or are there very few black-sounding names in the list? Seems like they're either refusing to help, being treated like kangs by white-guilted progressivists, or being excused from doing any work because, after all, literally all the work in the pre-Civil War era was done by blacks.

Part of me really hopes this is an op to cause a purity spiral in UCB as they eat their own in an attempt to find the wrongthinker, but I suspect that's being optimistic.

In case you couldn't tell, a majority of this outrage is fabricated by sad white kids who personally feel responsible for slavery.... for some reason.
