Well, I just had to pepper spray a BLM protestor. I was driving to have dinner with a friend in a city and some crazy protestor ran in front of my car when I had the right of way and was crossing the intersection.

My car has pedestrian detection so on come my brakes screeching my car to come to a stop. Still, I try to avoid the protestor and swerve into some construction cones. My widow is down and the protestor asks if I was okay.

My response? "Why did you run into the middle of the street. The cones probably fucked up my paint job."

Her reply? "Are you saying your car is more important than Black Lives?" She leans INTO my car and gets in my face. I push here back and hit her with some Fox Labs 5.3 pepper spray.

Make a commie cry in Arby's next. I did by joking a group of black trash bags was a muslim woman with her children. Commie still asked me for some of my milkshake though.

The Gunderson Report on the findings of the investigation intothe Finders cult is one of the most sickening things I've read, and I'm the guy that grossed out 8chan with the insane Tribe.net shit. Combine THAT with Ariel Toaff's Blood Passover and you start to get what's really going on behind the Scenes.

Grew up in a similar circumstance. It fucks you up for life.
Makes me happy other people are looking into it so it finally stops.

I think fundies were usually hamstrung by the precepts and popular images of Christianity, one of which is nonviolence. (And anyone who was actually violent was deemed "not a true Christian," naturally.) But they sanctimoniously destroyed what would now be called "problematic" culture pretty much non-stop, silenced, bullied, and intimidated people routinely, and even ruined peoples' lives occasionally with accusations that were totally false.

The worst of the fundies were and are fucking awful people. (You might want to consider the occasional, more cultish, abusive offshoots of Christianity as related.) Their ranks were also dominated, coincidentally (but definitely not exclusively), by Western women, but back then they were generalized as busybody"housewives." A lot of the behavior we're seeing right now has direct analogues in Christian fundamentalist behavior. (The commie struggle sessions are very similar to revivals, for example.)

There is no contradiction in saying "the Satanic Panic was an overreaction to a virtually nonexistent problem" and acknowledging the Founders might have been a rare case of "the real deal."

There was also real candy found with razor blades inside... just so rarely that the moral panic was unjustified. Anti-black racism also exists, even if the claim they're being attacked by cops every day is an obvious lie.

I have a black thumb and even I managed to do that science experiment in school where you grow a bean in a pot.

That said, watching them fuck up basic gardening is even more sad because these idiots are too dense to realize they are fucking it all up and likely too proud to admit it if they do realize it.
