How do i apply my skills to make cashey money? - I'm not a tech expert, not by a long shot; if you can make this place run well on little and keep the complaints down to a soft peep...some company out there is going to want you. I’m a newer user and I’ve been sperging in the riot thread a lot this past week, but honestly, I wouldn’t blame Null for nuking A&H, if he decided to go that route. It sounds like it’s been nothing but a source of problems and stress for a long time. (Granted, it wouldn’t change the fact that every thread about trannies or other sex pests inevitably heads down a spiral of politics and anger, but it would be a start.)

Null's a relic from a time when we used to joke that “the internet is serious business”, but now that everyone’s gone nuts and seems to treat the internet like it really is serious business, the jokes have kind of been replaced with frustration and anger. A lot of people seem to come here to be mad on the internet (ironically enough) rather than to laugh at crazy bastards putting themselves on display. Hell, I’ve been guilty of that myself.

And from the sounds of it, he doesn’t really seem to have much in the way of people offline to interact with. No wonder he’s depressed. Hell, anybody would be depressed if their primary means of interaction with other people was through KF. Ultimately, I think the answer to "How do I move into stability and towards a more fulfilled person?" and "How do I have fun again?" is to cultivate a better life outside of this internet shitshow. If you can’t turn the computer off an go do something else, it’ll destroy you in the end.

Anyway... Null, whatever you decide, thanks for this little slice of Web 1.0 in The Current Year. You've had a big impact on the history of the internet, whether you know it or not. If you want to retire from all this, you've definitely earned it. You're a good dude who cares deeply about things bigger than yourself, and I wish you much happiness in the future.

Hey man, I can't say I know what you're going through, but I want to say this. You're a pretty cool guy, and I do appreciate the work you've put into the site so far. If you ever want to transfer the site away, that's your right, but I would hope you don't shut it down. The farms are a fun place to me, and many others, and being at the top may keep you from experiencing that with us at the bottom. But if you want to step away, be less active as the "head" of the site, thats more than fine. Go for what makes you happy in life. For what it may be worth, I think making a community like this and having it survive for so long is an accomplishment worth having done.

If KiwiFarms goes out I really hope that there is some kind of replacement for Lolcow Salon. Came here to follow AmberLynn orginally and KiwiFarms is the absolute best place I've found to be a catty bitch online, mostly because of the blessed no powerlevel rule. Every other forum and discussion board to mock other women, bitches are falling over themselves to tell their whole life story and prove how much better they are than the lolcow in question. Also through years of bullying Null managed to get women to archive our shit.

I appreciate the work that was done expanding the woman section of the site (and also the dedication to improving the site in general) even if the doors did shutter tomorrow. Wild that the women section of the site is the seemingly the most fun one. It really is [current year].

I'm not turning the site off but on June 19th, barring another incident where travel plans evaporate like they did on the 9th, I will be gone until at least July. I have to find out before then if the site needs extra staff and then on July I hope to have a plan for the future.
