I came in here with my first post being original content relevant to what was being discussed, and it was dismissed due to my account age and it not fitting the narrative defined by recent posters in the thread. I think a lot of people here have a truth in their mind that just has no good evidence behind it.

Shitting on newfags and being an asshole isn't an experience unique to this forum, it is pretty universal. People are going to be assholes, especially if you come on to a place to get it on with a specific poster in a really stupid grudge. In fact it is the very type of behavior we like to laugh at and the prime reason everyone started shitting on Dax in the first place. I'm not saying this to be an asshole, I'm just saying that is how it is.

Take some time to go through some other threads, find a thread subject or two that you'd like to analyse/make fun of, get a bit of a feel for the place and then come back to argue with Cuckzunian or defend Dick when you have better acclimatized to the place. The biggest pitfall anyone can make here is to take what goes on here, or themselves in relation to what goes on here, seriously. Go get a feel for the place, lighten up a bit and if you need to come back and dump on this thread and people on this thread, you're doing so with a sense of humor and tongue planted firmly in cheek. Otherwise the whole experience is going to suck.
