I'm getting too old for this shit.

i know i'm late but jesus @Null you pick serbia out of all places to start a family?? do you have fucking brainworms?

everyone of dating age has lived either thru the wars or the aftermath, liberals will hate you for your views while conservatives will hate your guts for being an american.
women fluent in english will overwhelmingly be liberal-minded, and women who aren't fluent in english won't date a foreigner unless he's exceptionally attractive or rich, which you are neither.
not to mention just how many women won't have kids due to the miserable economic situation, which you aren't rich enough to bridge that gap.

dude, you shot yourself in the foot.

uh, no? I move all the fucking time.

cows were mocked for political shit but the trolling/observation was generally apolitical imo. yeah threads would sometimes get taken over by politics, but now it's the norm. you can see it as positive or negative or be neutral to it, all I'm saying is I personally understand where Null is coming from when he says he's not having fun anymore.

where that leaves the site, I have no clue. it's just not the same beast that it was, which happens with everything.
i just found a more articulate way to describe my observation because i misspoke earlier and couldnt clearly distinguish concepts, there has been a change but i dont think its the amount of politics by too much but its more noticeable in intensity and bitterness. One particular trans person being called bad for the trans community to a crowd that is more universally supportive or forced into a feigned neutrality on transgenderism in general and the discussion around that will fly under the radar of being called politics rather than a discussion of similar length between someone who is trans and 69racialslurisyou1488.

The attitude in most places was a variation of "leaving people alone to do weed or whatever is an intellectual take and not a hasty cliche to justify my behavior" which mixed well with a nihilistic sense of humor but ultimately imo the idea that people took less of a stance or did less to effect politics then is an illusion that was created by a desire and at the time ability to detach oneself somewhat from their world.

Being against groups universally agreed to be cults, or decrying someone for saying the n word to get their goat gets your site positive news coverage and the more edgy antics got sites a tinge of infamy and cool kid appeal without the consequences of actually going against mainstream organizations or intellectual clique's near universal opinion and didnt arouse the unified hatred of segments of the population who lean towards them. I think it was more the near universality of the beliefs said and the detached aloof phrasing that hid the amount of politics like sugar to medicine.

Ultimately the problem faced is still the same, that being the politics of this time being overbearing but i think it is important to distinguish the exact cause of political fatigue, dunno it might be important to clear up now rather than later when any debate on measures to mitigate might wrongly effect something as benign as i dunno discussing an incident with india trading its budget for corn for some dumb reason. also having been on the outside of acceptable consensus when it was more niche and most were ignorant of the internet and made easy pickings it irks me to hear a time when you could make a twitter style cancellation campaign but with a bit more irony being called apolitical.

Don't really use the forum, I just came here to tell you that, you as a person, are absolute kino, Josh. I’ve watched almost every single one of your streams. Your commentary is a perfect blend of entertaining and insightful. Your voice is easy on the ears and very comfy to listen to. Your bursts of laughter are more infectious than Covid. Music choice speaks to me on a spiritual level. I wouldn’t know or care about even half of the people and subjects you’ve covered if your entertaining personality didn’t feed them to me.

It’s incredibly impressive that you’ve lasted so long without having a moment like this. I’ve watched an entire world collectively lose their shit and ostracize local man for having fun on the internet errver and errver again and yet not once did I see you genuinely lose your cool or give into malice. In a perfect world, you would be venerated for carrying yourself with such sagacity but this is not a perfect world. We’re living in shit-smearing monkey times and heading straight for planet of the apes. Find yourself a good, traditional woman skillful enough to finally make you ejaculate and flee this cursed planet.

Godspeed.

Takes a while to read through this thread - so I'm sure I've missed plenty. 'Tis juicy, though -- it's a eulogy for the bygone days of the internet, or at least seems like a good thread to post some of those. I don't really know where else I would see so many people taking the time to write all of this out, in truth, or to see so many different takes -- dick-slobbering, critical, completely unrelated, completely fucking insane, so-on -- all bundled up in ostensibly the same place.

I'm certainly on the newer side, having really only lurked for a hair over half a year and only rather recently hopped in to give dumb, hyperbolic, hysterical takes into the abyss. And yet I heard back something from that blackness, a fierce energy I'd never thought to see again - "retard". This place is an acerbic balm in that way, to get called a fucking moron with clear reason given for it. Methinks this is what draws people so closely to this otherwise niche forum: a sense of a bygone world and a bygone candor. Getting called an autistic sped here has such a heft and weight to it that simply can't compare to getting roasted anywhere else.

I'd known about this place for a long time before I ever looked at it. Yet what ultimately drove me to look at it, out of boredom, was that the meatspace is getting increasingly idiotic. Like many of the new folks around here, I would assume, I was mostly content with the hobbies, career, and friends to take care of socializing. Yet as trash people increasingly started to become unhinged and obsessed with politics 24/7 -- and I say this as someone that reads political magazines and quarterlies with relish cover to cover -- I just had to withdraw from that miasmatic social climate. Trim down the friend group to the good and wholesome people, destroy social media, focus on - ah, here's a pandemic, and a host of free time. Ah, here's some riots, and we're now denying evident and apparent reality in a manner so stark it slides into parody.

But while our current wonderful catastrophe drove me here, it's that nostalgic sense of yesterday that prevails here which serves as the main draw. It's emotional, I think. Yes, yes; someone else might come along to shoulder the burden of the farms, to take on the task again, to get together a bunch of miscreants and outcasts and the dregs that inevitably follow along after them in one place. There will always be fatasses to laugh at and narcissists to feel extreme secondhand embarrassment at, even if the nature of these things is certainly more mundane than it once was. Let's not lie and suppose there isn't some special sauce here, however, or that this place stands as one of the few or only spots left to... well, to interact with folks with mostly functioning brains.

The death of the farms would be a symbolic death. It would be saying goodbye to many things - for some, their old memories, their friends, their routines, so-on. Yet for those of us new here, there's still a somber attitude: to have rediscovered something thought lost, which we never expected to meet again... and to have to bid it farewell once more. Yet we all knew that was going to happen, right? The farms have to end one day, some day. Internet 1.0, pre-social media, whatever -- the culture that drew so many of us oddities here, has to end - already ended? We'll enjoy our time, have enjoyed our time, and carry on in life, as we already did and already have. Why, this reminds me of a puzzle...

Whatever your ultimate reasons - was this a flash of emotion that will be discarded? The creeping out of deeper, inner insight and meaning? A cry for attention? Diarrhea of the mind? You've ultimately assisted, whether as a glorious leader or as the most incompetent boob in history, folks to enjoy this brief snippet of what once was. As so many others recommend - release yourself from the pressure to appease and preserve the dead if it brings you no joy.

There's like ten thousand users on this site one of them has to be a decent looking chick who will take one for the team and marry null so the site doesn't get nuked

I vote for a "90 Day Fiancé" sub-forum where big tiddy goth gfs can make their application. the winner gets joshes broom and 50% of the t shirt sales @Null make it happen

Didn't Chris-chan go on a "search" for a GF? And got catfished over and over again? Not saying Null is following Chris-chan's trajectory at all, oh no. That would be, um, I can't find the words. Doesn't matter. Going outside to do things outside. See you all later. Or not if this site goes down. Shrug.

Josh, we're the same age and i can relate. I am also at a point were i feel like i should be further in life, settle down and find fulfillment.
Your life so far has been a fucking roller coaster and i couldn't even imagine living your nomad lifestyle for a month.
That this Forum exists in the current over sanitized internet is a god damn miracle and following your fight to keep this website online is one of the most inspiring things for me. This site and your streams are like the modern day pirate radio in an Internet where everything has become commercialized bullshit.

I can't tell you what to do. You have my deepest respect. I hope that things start to look better for you soon. And if you ever vanish from the face of the earth, change your name and start a job at google, I'll name a pet Hamster after you.
