I think if any good comes from all this is that we reach a middle ground in finally dealing with cops once and for all.
If another fuck up like this were to happen, I think more people would side with ACAB and abolition.

He can not say anything or just say he is Praying for Floyd's soul and his family. He could not call America racist and full of whiteys lynching poor innocent black folk. The media already calls him a klan member, which doesn't mean he should act like one, but how your enemies view you and what they want you to do should either be irrelevant to or the opposite of what you do.

I had to get fiesty with someone I've known for at least 30 years over this shit. He was/is solidly on the side of the rioters. When I asked him why he hated cops so much, it just boiled down to hearing all the stories of the bad ones and ignoring all the good or even neutral ones, and he really hated the way when one cop does something bad, the other cops will cover for the bad one. I was like, "Dude. You're a public school teacher. STFU with that shit." I can't wait until this is all over one way or another so we can have civil conversations again, though I'm pretty sure his virtue-signalling ass thinks I'm a monster for some of the opinions I expressed while showing him some videos that he conveniently hadn't seen.

Yeah I’m pretty sure BLM could have handled it better had it been a more pressing issue (ie corruption and borderline police states) rather than fanning the flames on race relations.

As the Vice President he has to say something. It's in his and his families best interests to stick with the narrative. I'm sure if he said otherwise the CIA and FBI could "find" some "evidence" that would force him to resign his position. While at the same time CNN would edit his interview footage to make him out to be a card carrying Klan member.

I don't think you fully realize how much control the media and CIA has. People have been convinced that Black Supremacy is the answer to racism. They've literally convinced people of that.
