Congressional Black Caucus chair: ‘Defund the police’ is ‘one of the worst slogans ever’
Rep. Karen Bass, the chairwoman of the Congressional Black Caucus, described calls to “defund the police” as a terrible rallying cry but said law enforcement officers shouldn’t have to become involved in situations that could be better handled by social workers.
“I told some friends that’s probably one of the worst slogans ever,” Bass (D-Calif.) said during a Washington Post live broadcast on Monday.
She said police department budgets could be reduced if communities shift some of the burdens to other agencies.
“Police officers are the first ones to say they are law enforcement officers, they’re not social workers. What we have done in our country is, we have not invested in health, social and economic problems in communities. We leave the police to pick up the pieces,” said Bass, of Los Angeles. “In my city, for example, on any given night, we have over 40,000 people who are homeless. Why should the police be involved with that?”
Addressing substance abuse and similar issues, Bass asked why “police officers have to clean up society’s problems?”
She blamed it on the “lopsided” priorities of cities.
“Why doesn’t a city deal with its social problems so not so much money would have to go to law enforcement?” she questioned.

From someone that used to be an anarchist, I can tell you very plainly. They do. All of my horrifying regrets in life were from trying to absolve myself of my "Inherent White Supremacy" Now I'm an actual follower of Hitler, and I want them to suffer and die from the very thing they have created. I see some right-leaning people have taken away the lesson that "violence gets results," and I think they're gravely misunderstanding the situation. It was not mob violence that got concessions; the mob is enforcing the will of the ruling class. Aping these tactics won't yield any desirable results for the unfavored.

Asking for a friend, but what counts as 'obsessively'? On a serious note, I had a retired cop friend of mine tell me tonight that Tucker's too far right, now, and that the officers in Atlanta shouldn't have used deadly force because a taser isn't a lethal weapon, and it's only a single use, etc. I try not to get too doomy, but really, where the hell are the normies? What evidence does anyone have that there's not going to be the same woke virtue signalling at the polls? (That map of Minnesota turning red seems a bit too optimistic to me, given the love their mayor's getting for wanting to disband their fucking police department!)

Most of the polls and pundits agree trump is fucked. Trump was at least in the margins of error in 2016, but now he doesnt even have a fanbase at this point. All his people have been driven off social media, he has no accomplishments and his strategy of reaching across the aisle to steal voters has failed.
The GOP has become so pozzed that they just let trannies become part of the civil rights act, something only the whitest of people liked.
The only good thing about whats comming up is that Trump clearly doesnt realize he wont be able to come back from this. Jared and the jews have successfully kept him from realizing how fucked things have gotten. Hes going to basically be blackbagged come January 21st. All his and his companies social media will be permabanned, no domains will let his hotels on. No 3rd party websites will book his hotels. A ban on him ever appearing anywhere. The GOP will basically ban anyone in the party with speaking to him. Id be surprised if they dont end up convicting him on some bullshit 4 years after he leaves office.
Trump's best bet is fleeing to israel, but chances are they'll send him back and only let his grandkids stay. 2021 for trump will look like a modern day Nuremberg trial if he loses.
