Pokémon (Not-So) Griefing Thread - Scarlet and Violet Released with 10 Million Copies in First 3 Days in Buggy States

Alright so:

  • Pokemon brushing app for children
  • Pokemon Cafe puzzle game for both Switch and mobile
  • 2020 Pokemon Snap
  • Shiny Zeraora G-Max Event.
Also, mega evolution and Galarian Farfecth'd are getting added to pokemon GO, but I don't know how many people in this thread actually play it for it to matter.

Can't wait for the Pokemon Company to make a game about how to shower or use deodorant.

Feels like a push by them to make it so people don't reek of bad breath and eventually BO.
We know whose really behind these apps now

Why didn't Gen 8 look like Pokêmon Snap?

Watch the next mainline game be a tremendous graphical downgrade by the series' own standards now.
Because bandai namco is developing it and not game freak

NewPokemon Snap has caught my eye. I'm not interested in a photography simulator, but graphically it's where pokemon's debut on the Switch ought to be if it came from a somewhat competent developer.

As for the Isle of Armor, dataminers have been quick to work with the new DLC, and have provided a list of all new 'mons, which are available to everybody in the new update, regardless of whether or not you bought the DLC:
They also provide a separate file for pokemon still not available in the game:
So a bit of maths for anybody interested. Base SwSh had 400 / 890 pokemon available. This DLC adds 140.
Added by gen: Gen 1 +42 | Gen 2 +14 | Gen 3 +7 | Gen 4 +10 | Gen 5 +29 | Gen 6 +9 | Gen 7 +24. Then plus 5 additional gen 8=140
#Still missing: Gen 1 -56 | Gen 2 -53| Gen 3 -87| Gen 4 +-59| Gen 5 -41| Gen 6 -30| Gen 7 -25. Total missing: 353
What I want to know is if the next DLC adds well over 100 like this one did, why not just do the final push and complete the dex? I get the real reason is to set the precedent going forward, but they'd be so close and it'd be such a PR win it's crazy.

it's probably because they are saving that PR win to next gen, imagine it, gen 9 they say "we listened and added the rest" despite the fact they already did most of the work for the DLC, it would be relatively simple to finish and have everyone say they are the good guys. but would also promote the hype cycle of that next game.

That sounds like 3 dlc packs to me, maybe 4 if they stretch it out.

Just started the Isle of Armor. First really notable reaction: I got on the water and Sharpedo started AGGRESSIVELY coming at me.

New Pokémon Snap? The timing is suspicious because of all the bullshit we had to go through with SwSh and this is their "We're sorry, please come back to us" compromise, I bet.

And it's fucking working, goddamnit. This should've happened when the Wii U was relevant, but better late than never I guess. Least it looks like we'll have more than 63 Pokémon to take pictures of. Too bad it won't be Todd Snap we'll be playing as, though, it's just some douche wearing his cap backwards. But who even remembers that guy, anyway? Ha! Ha ha...

A bigger and better Pokemon Snap sequel designed by a competent company that's not GF. Now this is the best news I've seen in a long time. And all pokeymanz are the right size to boot. Pokemon Snap was a fucking joy so I hope this one has a lot of relaxing ambience too with even more and bigger environments, along with a soundtrack that's as good as the original or has some hd remixes from it.
