Bingo. Just goes to show how much Monica really believes Ron has changed.
I mean yeah, usually when someone is confident in a relationship, they have no problem getting married. Even if it's not a large ceremony and you just get married through other legal means. I know that in some states, if you live together with a significant other for a certain amount of years, the state considers the two of you married. I think they call it a civil marriage. Typically couples will get married through legal means and then have a ceremony later if they are either pressed for time or money. There's literally no other reason Ron and Monica haven't tied the knot besides the fact either she or both of them are tip toeing around it and beating around the bush is a sign of hesitation. They must not think marriage is very important if they look for any tiny thing to put it off.

If Monica is doing her best to avoid marrying Ron then she actually has legitimate reasoning. I know someone who is currently resisting frequent pressure for marriage by her boyfriend because she knows that if she ends up agreeing and tying the knot, it would be significantly harder for her to break away from him.

You are referring to "Common Law Marriages". In truth there are very few states these days that recognize this, and, even in the ones that do, you have to actually do a lot more than just live together. You have to present yourselves as being married, whether you are or not. Also, you need to have things in both your names, like joint checking accounts, mortgages, car titles, etc...
Simply living together for a certain length of time will not qualify you as Common-Law.

According to State Bar of Texas:

Proving a common-law marriage depends on the factual circumstances of each case. While the co-habitation requirement is straightforward, establishing the other two requirements can be a challenge. To prove an agreement of marriage, Texas caselaw states there must be evidence establishing a present, immediate, and permanent intent between the parties to have a marital relationship. An agreement to get married in the future is insufficient to establish an agreement of marriage. As such, if two people are engaged, then they cannot be common-law married.

The requirement that each party must “hold out” to others as married simply means the parties must represent to others that they are married. Texas caselaw states that the purpose of this requirement is to ensure that there is no “secret” common-law marriage. While spoken words alone can fulfill this requirement, actions and conduct by each person are also examined. For example, introducing each other as spouses, wearing rings on ring fingers, or signing credit applications as a married couple could separately qualify as “holding out” to others as married. Filing joint tax returns, adding someone to the “family” country club membership, and even the address on Christmas card envelopes can come into play. Oftentimes, the evidence that supports the “holding out” element also supports an agreement to be married.

Monica and Ron have no grounds of going through common law marriage. They weren't "smart" enough to do that, I guess, though if Monica has always had personal doubts on whether-or-not she should marry this man, then why hasn't she gone through the trouble of preparing herself to get out of that relationship? Clearly she can't turn him down face-to-face lest she gets a remote to the teeth, but it doesn't look to me like she's been preparing to live independently from him despite not ever having a joint account. Is it truly fear of living alone, or is there something much more sinister/malicious going on here?

Like, they legit don't have to go through the whole ceremony process, just buy the marriage license and get it officiated by a judge or priest in a small private function (no need for that either but still), get it over with or don't bother.

Ron Toye IV (CHUNKYMILKUWU) played a custom match of Rainbow 6 Siege called "niggers" two days ago. The kid who setup the match is his cousin. (There is a PayPal link in the description and the e-mail is artoye65@gmail.com)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It will be taken care of.

Let me check the list off, we own our house together :) we have a shared bank account, we have been together almost 6 years........ its almost like we are married without the little piece of paper that says we are LOL! You all put a ton of weight on this and we love laughing at you all. It is funny to watch the conspiracy theories you all think up.

LOL. Do you think a piece of paper is what makes a relationship or is it the commitment? The "wedding" is an antiquated function of society that we would do just to give her parents the opportunity to have a wedding. If it was up to us we would just go to the JP and keep moving but we are in no rush, maybe the winter, maybe not, but we are happy, successful, and on the right side of history :)

If your “marriage” is not on a legal document you’re not married. At least in America.

Hope nothing comes back on appeals. Would be mighty embarrassing to have to testify against each other because you don't have spousal privilege.

And calling her you personal fiancee precludes you from common law marriage, anyway.

Also RIP mini Ron. He's getting the remote tonight.

The real fun thing is if appeals come back and they have to testify against each other
You all have no idea how any of this works. Go ask Nick a few questions. 1 why didn't the submit any discovery, we did, why did Vic testify to deleting evidence during the lawsuit? Why do they keep requesting extensions when they had a head start of 6 months? I know the answers, it is why we are 17-0 and soon will be 34-0 :) maybe 36-0 if our counter on the fees goes well, and it should, but in the end 34-0 or 36-0 is nice. You all wanted the court to settle things, well it did, now we get to laugh while you all freak out trying to justify or tinfoil hat some flat earth conspiracy crap to why he lost LOL!

What the actual fuck are you even going on about with this "right side of history" crap?

Also I think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to marriage.

If you think we’re “freaking out”, why are you using emojis, which you use to cope with stress? And why are you back on KF after saying you were done? Aren’t those signs that it is you who is“freaking out”?
Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It will be taken care

That’s nice that “it will be taken care of”, but this is more of a reflection of your irresponsibility as a parent than your son’s bad behavior. Not only did someone find out before you, but that video had been up for almost two weeks before you found out yourself.
