Of course they did. Remember that anyone born after 1996 has no real memory of 9/11. It's just history to them.
My mother teaches history at the high school level. Every year there is an increasingly large plurality of students who don't get why we commemorate September 11th every year. Every year she explains what happened and the little snot-nosed brats finally understand why 9/11 is significant.
I sort of remember when it happened; my parents told me it was a plane crash (probably to keep me from being scared). I remember asking if all the kids survived. They said yes.
Honestly, I don't think my school ever taught me what happened that day. I never even saw any footage of it until well into high school, and that's just because I was watching a documentary at home. It's in the textbooks, why not cover it? Because it might be offensive to muslims?
This timeline feels Biblical: the road to hell is paved with good intentions as we can see with CHAZ. This has the trappings of a purity cult going all out. It's built around dehumanising, removing personal power of individuals, self mutilation, destruction of family and community, conversion by way of violence, humiliation, shame, guilt and fear. They have perverted kindness and empathy into outrage and money laundering. They create enemies for the horde to neutralise or destroy. They brainwash constantly through schools, media, and advertising. The news is made to demoralise you and destroy hope because it's constantly filled with seemingly inescapable horror. You must kneel to them in submission to their lies and violence or you will become a social pariah in retaliation for not joining their hivemind.
It's spiritual cancer and remarkably similar to the fucking antichrist.
This is what happens in the absence of God (to the point where God itself publicly becomes a target), and I'm saying that as someone who is agnostic at best and just interested in this kind of stuff. I'm not talking about "sky daddy" like the fundies worship, but the eradication of order, love and unity that comes with true 'godliness' and lets you identify this shit as bad news. When you are accountable to no one but yourself and your peers, you are your own downfall.
I cannot explain the absolute anarchy, destruction, degeneracy and race baiting that's being encouraged from the top down and shoved down our throats across the world as anything other than fucking evil and demonic. Look at them chasing that blue shirt guy with knives and saying they will kill him, cheering on the removal of police, and desire to remove "whiteness". I have no idea what the solution is other than to reject this insane brainwashing and protect what's precious to you; family, property, liberty.

I don't really disagree with that analysis, barring that the internet makes it so it's straight up impossible to get away from if you interact with normal people in any way

I remember being in my elementary school class, and the teacher was pulled out of the room. All the kids were trying to figure out what was going on, and one kid said something like "a plane crashed into a building".

When it was happening I was in middle school and all the classrooms had the TVs on the corner wall. All work was cancelled and we all waited for our parents to pick us up as we watched people jump off the building.
1. The dude that started the thread is collecting faces for an intelligence agency, likely foreign, as they've been doing for years.
2. Dude's a pedo lol

I'm an atheist myself, but it almost feels like the common man needs some form of religion to keep their mind occupied. Otherwise, they worship something else to fill the hole, like products, media, sports, anti racism, politics, social justice, etc.
The only half-decent slam poem I've ever heard was the one about Wile E. Coyote, because it wasn't some dumbass political screed and actually had a few unexpected, emotionally resonant bits. Doesn't save slam poetry as a whole, though.
Also, to add, the World Trade Center was THE hub for international trade in the United States, along with being an architectural marvel of human construction. Subsequently, it crippled America's economy and morale for a time. So, it WAS a big impact for NYC and America as a whole.
all types of people died in 9/11 but there was one "tribe" that was particularly happy when it happened, so happy that they danced as people of all races died
I tried seeing if I could find more info, all I found was he was in Iraq, no other mentions. He was also an NCO (E5) which he was in for 8 years is... pretty average. Can't find MOS.
USMC can be more stringent than other branches with the CAR. Although there is still a lot of BS around it.
Sounds about right for a fobbit; he absolutely got someone to pencilwhip an award while leaving country. While doing en masse awards for everyone, it was common for company commanders to slip little shit like that thru.
"Say, LT? You went outside the wire, right? I'm doing CABs, and you don't have one yet."
Massive leadership we had, luckily the usmc shields the admin side from the operational side and that's what matters when it comes to the business of warfighting.
Our butterbar & junior officer corps got highly politicized somewhere along the way; and we started ending up with more managers than leaders, most of the time.
Still, my stretch came during the end of career for some pretty crusty Old Army types that mentored me, and their cynicism matched my own. All of them were enthusiastic about getting out, because they saw the way things were going.
Speaking of gender-neutral, have the BLMs forbidden that we call eletrical things "male/female"? Because I saw one shop changed everything and they just use "plug/socket" now. Is there a new name for white noise too? Can shit be still brown? are colours legal or we have to use wavelengths?
@NyQuilninja the photo of the sambess hurt my brain, I used a phone and it was really very near, I hope to unsee it with time.
So I had nearly caught up to the thread - being only about 200 pages behind at this point, and I was getting MATI enough that I felt called to action. Particularly, I wanted to see if there was any opportunity to push back against this wave of people being fired and kicked out of colleges over their milquetoast opposition to BLM. So I go to the website for the Republican Party to see if there's a local meeting or any scheduled activism, and what do I find?
I find that the Republican Party is too busy cancelling their own people over their anti-BLM statements to help protect their constituents from losing their jobs over the same thing.
Hello,
I am a Republican voter in Texas. I have donated to various Republican candidates in the last several elections and posted campaign posters in my yard, but haven’t been actively involved in much political activity. The past few days have motivated me to look for opportunities to do something to advance conservative ideas and find ways to speak back against the blatantly false narratives that have been pushed by leftist propagandists. Particularly, I’ve been concerned about the leftist tactic of finding offensive posts on social media – or even posts that aren’t offensive, but speak counter to the leftist narrative on race and policing – tracking down the identities of those posters, and working to get them fired, kicked out of their colleges, or any other form of social ostracization they can think of to ruin that person’s life.
I have been thinking about how this leftist trend toward ruining the lives and careers of people on the right of the political spectrum is a threat to the ideals of our country, our freedoms as Americans, and even our ability to survive as a civilization. I went to the Republican Party of Texas’ website today, looking to see what opportunities there were for political activism – only to see that the Republican Party of Texas is involved in precisely the same sort of cancel culture destruction of a person’s life that motivated me to turn here in the first place in their rush to try and silence Cynthia Brehm. I’ve looked into her comments, and they seem like wild speculation. They seem unhelpful. I’d even call them incendiary and stupid. However, there’s no real world consequences to any person from those statements, while there are real world consequences to the cowardly Republican demand issued by James Dickey that Cynthia Brehm step down from her position. A person losing their position is a real world consequence. Hearing a stupid idea isn’t.
Republican voices are systematically and aggressively being chased out of the public sphere. Twitter users are being banned. College students are having their acceptance into college revoked. Companies are sending out letters telling their employees that any message they share on social media challenging the Black Lives Matter narrative will get them fired. Having a Republican make a stupid comment may turn off some voters – but actively contributing to a culture that not only silences conservative voices, but actively punishes anyone who dares voice conservative ideals will not only ultimately end the Republican party, it will effectively criminalize it.
I do not see any reason to support an organization working to bring about its own destruction. I would like to protect my ability to speak about my priorities, my ideals, my political beliefs, but I see no reason to believe that the Republican party, the organization that is engaging in the same cancel culture tactics (against its own party members, to boot!) is able or willing to defend my rights. The left is working tirelessly to make sure that Republicans are unemployed and unemployable. And by what I’ve seen on your website, you’re more than happy to help them. I am disappointed and disgusted.
I guess I’m going to go look at the Libertarian Party’s website…
With Total Candor,
A Person Who Daren’t Write Her Name in Case Y’all Decide to Cancel Me.
You should be ashamed for promoting this culture of fear.
You all should resign. I’ve never heard of Cynthia before, hadn’t heard of her until I visited the website today, but at least she had the guts to stand by her ideals. I was pretty proud to come to a state that proudly proclaimed, ‘Don’t Mess With Texas,’ but y’all sure don’t live up to that motto. It’d be more accurate to say, ‘Please Tell Us Which Boot to Lick.’
Then, as I'm there in my email, I notice that a message from the library has been sent to my spam folder, so I pull that up, wondering what it is.
My suburban, Republican city is sending out anti-racist reading lists on their official library email.
The reading list is:
-How to be an AntiRacist by Ibram X. Kendi,
-White Fragility by Robin Diangelo
-Biased: Uncovering the hidden Prejudice that Shapes What We See, Think and Do by Jennifer Eberhardt
-So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo
-Between the World and Me by Tanehisi Coates
-Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad
-Just Mercy: Adapted for Young Adults by Bryan Stevenson
-Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi
and Woke Baby (a picture book for children) - by Mahogany L. Brown.
I'm going to be putting on my Karen hat later today and calling every member of my city council today to see whether they approve of their tax-payer funded library engaging in partisan politics.
WTF, then what is the point of voting for the GOP down ballot races if they are the same shit. Or they just RINOs. Trump is running against the democrats and these must be the 4% of assholes that disappove of Trump.
But its like this whole thing was preplanned. Not even the California GOP are this cucked.
Edit: I want to expand further with, I am surprised most of the insane shit in other states is not happening or happened in California first. Or this state is too much of a lost cause that the DNC, Soros, CIA, FBI and Nigger Nation decided "meh, too obivous and on the nose".
The American education system doesn't teach the history of the Soviet Union, The People's Republic of China or the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. Most of the top commies were psychopaths and sexual sadists. Stalin's right hand man, Lavrentiy Beria, was an out and out serial killer who would prowl the streets of Moscow with his bodyguards, kidnap underage girls, brutally rape and torture them to death and have their bodies buried in his garden. Mao was a pedophile who enjoyed raping pre-pubescent virgins. The biographies of the commie greats are a collection of weirdness and sociopathy.
Communism was an abject and unmitigated disaster in the 20th century which led to the murder and starvation of hundreds of millions of people. No one who spends more than 5 minutes examining it's history could possibly think otherwise. So what type of person would be attracted to it? The type of person who can only achieve personal gratification through the subjugation and humiliation of others. It's pure evil, true Satanism. Anyone who espouses Marxism is either a retard or enjoyed drowning cats when they were children.
Commies are sexual degenerates and predators, no wonder so many are attracted to it. How long did it take CHAZ to have their leader step down for being a sexual abuser?

I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. My brother and I were watching reruns of old cartoons when I noticed that we were going to be late to school. I went upstairs to get Grandpa and found him in a semi-catatonic state, half dressed and half shaved, staring at the television.
I asked him if he was watching a movie, he said no and told me "we're going to war".
Everyone older than 23 can remember where they were on September 11, 2001.
As to why we don't teach it, I'm not too sure. It was in history books by my senior year of high school but there was a tacit understanding that we all lived through it, thus didn't need more than one day's worth of recounting our personal experiences. Maybe that tacit complacency is still around while the students aged out of understanding.
Or perhaps your assertion is right and we don't want to hurt the fee-fees of Muslims who would blow up more buildings if given the chance.
I'm an atheist myself, but it almost feels like the common man needs some form of religion to keep their mind occupied. Otherwise, they worship something else to fill the hole, like products, media, sports, anti racism, politics, social justice, etc.
Not the common man - the idle man. The common man, the worker, the person toiling and struggling to improve their lot, isn't the one basking in this shit. Who is it?
It's rich college kids, sitting there without having to work - or getting their way into jobs where they basically don't work and basically can never advance
It's NEETs, who hate everything mummy and daddy stand for and the world for not recognizing how super special awesome they are
It's the terminally unemployed, who can't hold a job and find any other excuse but themselves for why they keep spending all their unemployment on booze and onlyfans
It's the bored housewife, wanting to stand on the right side of history - too lazy to do anything productive with that leisure, but wanting the energy
When you look at the US's labor force participation rate, for working-age adults, it's something like 64-65%. Note - unemployed, that is, people looking for work, are still considered as participating in a labor force. Early retirees, people who only work under the table, stay-at-home spouses, people with disabilities that prevent them from working - these are the people you would expect to be members of the nonparticipation rate, which in healthy economies can range from 6-8%. So that's like 27-29% of the working-age population that's... just not working or trying to work that really aught to be.
The idle man needs something to focus and fixate themselves with, because by the fact that they're idle we can see they lack entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to guide themselves. You'd see these people in earlier decades getting suckered into those religious scams and buying the dumb fucking prepper buckets and healing crystals and not giving their children vaccines

Jesus I'm old! I was 34 and sleeping in my room because I called in to work that day. My housemate came running in to wake me up and get me to watch the TV. Said we were being attacked. We ran downstairs and watched, stunned, as the towers come down. It was so fucking surreal, we were both just freaking out. After the big sad, came the rage. We got drunk and blasted Metallica for the rest of the day. Felt really helpless.
