U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

After the little spat I had on the CHAZ thread, I have been thinking further on the implications of what's going on. And, I want you to ask yourselves, and try to answer, one question:

Why should the cops care ever again?

Here is the truth of police work in america. Cops don't have to serve and protect. They do it because they care. But there is absolutely no piece of legislation actually forcing you to protect anyone. In fact as lawkiwis are happy to point out the Supreme motherfucking Court itself has ruled in the past that protecting the citizenry is in fact not part of the cop's job description and no one can force them to do it. In fact, no one can really force them to uphold the law at all.

What is a cops job then? A cops job is to come after the fact, write a report, give you a slip, and go on his merry way. If a cop saw you get repeatedly stabbed and just stood there watching and sipping coffee, then happily waved the murderer goodbye, and just noted on his notebook a report, he'd have done his job just as well as if he had stopped the murder. This is the current situation in america according to the law.

So why do cops ever stop crimes? Long story short, they do it because they want to. They do it because they THINK it's part of being a cop, that is their PERSONAL opinion and technically they have the authority to do it if they want, but they have no OBLIGATION to do it. Or in other words. The american system is run entirely on goodwill. The only reason a policeman ever does what most consider to do the job of the police, is because they have goodwill. If they had none, they'd be free to just ignore such "obligations" and do their base duty, just like a public servant that spends most of the day on the coffee machine chatting with his coworkers lazily.

This however is not the end of the issue. All we've established so far is that cops don't have reasons not to not do their job. We still have to answer if cops have any reasons to do their job, and if cops have any reasons to not do their job.

So let's get on the second. And the list is huuuuuuuuge. On the CHAZ thread the video "seattle is dying" was linked. And let me share it here:

As you can see on this video, cops have in fact already stopped doing their duty in seattle long ago, simply because the punishment for crimes was so small that there was literally no point. After all, arrests are a risky procedure that can devolve into violence. So why increase the number of arrests when you know they're just gonna go through a revolving door straight back into the shop for round two of robbery. It makes no sense, and the cops realized it, and decided not to pointlessly add risks. I can't blame them really.

And now we're also seeing it in atlanta. Cops are now constantly persecuted, every single time a police operation goes wrong in any way its all over the news and corrupt DAs ask for their heads, every fucking day they endure attacks both during the job and away from it, every fucking time lawmakers are on TV its to claim they're gonna restrict their functions further.

Every arrest is a high stress situation where everything can go wrong, and american law is so crooked that even if the cop does everything right he's still gonna have their face, name and adress shared for public lynching, be incarcerated for months on end and demonized, his family will be persecuted, his life will be ruined, and no one will pay for having done so.

Meanwhile state after state tries to defund, cut, or straight up abolish the police force and keeps putting more and more legislative, bureaucratic and economic roadblocks on their way, constantly discouraging them from ever acting.

So tell me. Knowing that cops have no reason to ever incarcerate a person. Knowing that their job is just to write a fucking record to hand to the lawyers and sip on coffee while they wait for the criminal to end. And knowing how quickly a cop can loose everything if they choose to actually arrest anyone. Why would a cop ever care anymore? They already walked away. So... Why would they ever come back?

Because if I was in their situation. I wouldn't. I'd sit there and watch you bleed to death while writing in my notebook and be a happy little pencil pusher, nothing but a cog in the machine. Because saving your life simply isn't worth the risk anymore. That's the reality of the current situation.

Media keeps blasting cops and proclaiming that american cops kill more people than european cops do. Yes, they do. But remember what I told you about sharks and dogs? America has a crime rate that is off the charts compared with most of europe, and specially a violent crime rate that is absolutely abhorrent. American policement perform way more arrests per capita than any european country. And every one of those arrests can end in tragedy. If you note the number of people american cops kill not per capita but per arrest, as I proved on prior messages, it is on par with europe, which is to say it is practically a statistical anomaly, too small to even opperate with. And yet due to that one statistical anomaly we can barely account for, a number so low that it would be scientifically permissible to say it is due to instrumental error, your press once more has launched a campaign of destruction against policemen, and your lawmakers have been happy to launch themselves at them and claw with reckless abandon.

This is how america ends. It won't be China taking you out. There won't be any wars. Policemen will simply see the bomb, sip their coffee, and let the timer run out. Because they will have no reason to save you.

Kentucky Governor made Juneteenth (stupid name) a state holiday. Is he trying to offset potential rioting, because Twitter is certainly trying to stir shit over the Breonna Taylor case.
I’m actually in favor of some sort of national holiday observing emancipation but Juneteenth is fucking retarded.

Also, can we get rid of MLK Day in exchange or nah?

It's true that Roberts wrote that, but if you didn't take away "Fuck you, Trump, you're on the wrong side of history" then I don't think you've been paying attention to John Roberts's opinions very closely.
None of this is new though. The courts including the Supreme Court has pushed hard left for a long time and will continue to do so as much as they think they can with a few notably exceptional Justices who are probably ultimately still liberal in ideology but respect the Constitution.
This was basically the only chance the Trump administration had. The opinion even recognizes that the original order was unconstitutional, but breezes past that because of the "disparate impact" it would have on people who were grandfathered in. There is no scenario in which DACA is ever rescinded.
The Trump Administration doesn't actually want to end DACA. Everyone knows that. If he wanted to end it he could follow the instructions of the opinion issued by Roberts and probably force it through before the election. He could definitely do it in a second term. This is a matter of lack of will not legal impossibility. This is why I don't think it's that big of a loss. It isn't anything new or insurpassable.
ETA: The narrowness of the decision was to preserve the possibility of rescinding TRUMP's EOs by his successor. They had to rule on narrow administrative grounds in order to cancel this rescission without throwing out the principle that the executive can reverse previous administrations' decisions outright.
I don't think shooting down Trump cancelling an EO would end EO cancellation by other executive administrations since after all they make the rules and can decide whatever they want for whatever reason they want. They made up the right to an abortion out of thin air. I think the Trump Admin purposefully gave cuckservatives a reason to block something in the hope and expectation they would block it that way they don't actually have to do anything for the conservative base. Incompetently do something so it doesn't work is a tried and true Trump Admin tactic, all bluster

We can't change the past, but we can make the future better.

For a start, we could start letting our police officers enforce the law.

The pendulum is swinging, people are starting the realize the failures of Democratic policies. It's on display, in black in white, for all to see; their policies are failing, their cities are burning, almost entirely Democratic cities, we are seeing the result of these failed policies.
I hope so. I just want to be able to make choices again. I am sick of everything being mandated and the Karen’s of the world be appeased. We shut down the country because of Karen’s on the internet. We’re requiring masks because of Karen’s on the internet. We’re allowing BLM to be taken seriously because of Karen’s on the internet. At some point, that bitch Karen needs to learn to mind her own fucking business and that her opinion is irrelevant.

These are the kinds of people that were never told 'no' as a child.

why is advertising almost always a nigger with a white woman? does nobody like black women?

spoiler: nobody likes black women. not even black guys and corporations apparently

White guy + nonwhite woman pisses everyone off, wokes included, and they're ALWAYS attacked as being a fetish first, and relationship second, it isn't just Asians. If they attack the dude, it usually boils-down to a "YT FETISHISTS STEALING KWEENS BY LURING THEM IN USING PRIVILEGE" argument if it's some generic hood who got mad at someone's #swirllife tag, or if they're "educated" - racism accusations, aka "he married a black girl just so he can torment her while keeping her trapped in privilege!". The most common stuff is the toothless "LOL MEDIOCRE WHITE MEN" in an attempt to woo the trapped colored maiden away to them, like when wokes were trying to radicalize AOC when they discovered her evil yt boyfriend

And then black girls get even more vicious shit from other black people, like getting called a coon, race traitor, or any other acceptable anti-racemixing screed, where the "educated" ones just use some variant of "you're attracted to white features because colorism (they still won't use the racist word here)", "you're selling-out DA STRUGGLE for a life of comfy white privilege", or the standard "you hate black features so much that you're going to swirl them out with your kids" if they have kids. But much like what guys endure, the most common attack is also "LOL MEDIOCRE WHITE MEN"

The tl;dr is that you can legit replace "Asian" with "insert-race-here" if you wanna get to the bottom of it, as it's 99% jealously over the time a white guy "stole" a girl from a huge piece of shit and has to wax rage over it, or 1% someone who legit believes white men can never be in a non-problematic relationship with a nonwhite because muh privilege and history. Here are some snippets of it in action from an SA thread (in the minority zone no less) that was extremely defensive about the topic of When Asian Women Are Harassed for Marrying Non-Asian Men

"I-I DON'T WANT THOSE VAPID CU-BAR GIRLS ANYWAY"

The player who came up with the chant, Lawrence Wright, is black. He’s not happy with the decision.
Once again the "Social Justice crowd" is silencing a minority voice. Who really are the racists?

I would have said "Why does the cop stop crime" is less paper work then needing to write report after report of "x got stabbed" then "y got stabbed"

Not really, stopping crime actually involves more paperwork than simply letting the crime continue, as not only do they have to do the paperwork for the start of the crime, but also for the protocols involved in stopping it. So not even that is in their favor there.

I was going on a "If we let this serial offender continue we will be doing more paperwork" route (i.e. more paperwork now vs a whole lot more long term).

I'm beginning to think Trump might be a bit of a miserable faggot. all the shit that is going on and he's pissing and moaning about that faggot john bolton and LAW AND ORDER x 100...

I know a ton of this shit is because he's in office, but what fucking good is the guy?
Really the thing he’s only good for is putting an ugly face on the policies we’ve always had in place. Obama droned civilians, expanded the government’s ability to spy on us, bailed out the bankers and deported more people than Trump has but he was articulate and he looked professional which is why he got a free pass.

The new Joe Rogan podcast has the professor from the Evergreen State College SJW shit from a few years back on. It would have been extremely insightful if Joe didn't bring feelings into it. He was trying to make points of the inevitable failing of the US if they acquit Chauvin because the court system works, but everyone has perceived injustice via the chopped down video that was initially released, so more rioting and killing, with eventual civil war.
