They're probably thinking of that one time a far-right rag (back before those were all shoah'd) noticed rather belatedly that Rome II's Desert Kingdoms patch had fem generals for barbarians in it and wrote a hit piece, which caused an avalanche of bad reviews, producing a shitstorm amplified by one particular forum mod at CA acted like an absolute cunt about it. So they probably assume every time a woke game gets bad reviews it must be something like that.

I'm always mixing up Juneteenth with Loving Day for some reason.
Yesterday, Twitter was flooded with CashApps and Venmos as people demanded "reparations" to celebrate Juneteenth. For fucking what? Y'all weren't the ones enslaved. I don't hear gay people asking for reparations for government stings in the 1950s, Chinese people for being treated like shit and massacred while mining and building railroads in the 1800s, etc. Japanese-Americans got reparations for being in internment camps, but 1) it happened within their lifetime, 2) many were dead by then anyway, and 3) they barely got anything. The more I see stuff like this, the more I'm convinced that black SJWs don't want equality, they want entitlement. I'm just tired.

At my spouse's work, they had 8 call outs for Juneteenth. And since they have personal days that can be used for anything, they could have requested the day off in advance. Last year, they had zero call outs for that day. I think most black folks are hearing about this for the first time, too.
Will be interesting to see how employers handle this. If they make it a holiday, can only black people get the day off? Will white people get time and a half for working it?
I guess that explains why it took 40 minutes to get to the part where they handcuff you for a DUI.

It's dumb because slavery didn't officially end until the 13th amendment was ratified. I can absolutely see making that date a national holiday. But Juneteenth is just a regional thing. If people want to celebrate it, fine -- but it shouldn't be an official national holiday.
