That flip flopping on arguments should tell anyone with a modicum of sense all they need to know. The two arguments are more or less opposed to one another. Even if the 1st argument WAS true, anyone who has ever talked to a teenager as an adult will tell you that the conversation is not all that engaging due to the lived experiences of the 2 being vastly different. A full-fledged adult has at least lived on their own / had a job / gone to university or some combo of the 3. A teenager may have experienced having a job, but that's a big stretch nowadays.

For that reason, I have no sympathy and no concern over whether justice was served correctly for Sisk.

I can agree that Carcin is using them for clout and Sisk, most likely manically depressed from the forced isolation, doesn't have any options as far as company. Regular society has shunned them and rightfully so. With that, they are unable to form long-lasting and (more importantly) positive / healthy relationships with a normal human being - not without paying them at least (i.e. a shrink).
