It’s very weird. Did every major company that planned products and recorded pride ads just decide to scrap them because they can’t take attention away from the nigger uprising? That’s millions in the can probably.

To be fair, I think the lack of products and store displays were probably partially a byproduct of the lockdowns. A lot of the non-big-box stores in my area only opened up at the beginning of the month after being closed since before Easter. Might be different in a bigger city, though, who knows.

I just know pretty much every online business/service has had something about BLM/activist/Juneteenth since this began, but I've seen barely a rainbow peep out of them, unlike the past few years.

It's a mixed bag. His socialist policies largely failed and his reconciliation policies were abandoned by his party who set up a corrupt dynasty.

The big-ticket item with the South Africa is that it has been ruled as a one-party democracy since the end of apartheid. There's limited success and even stability in the country while Mandela is around to guide the ANC, but the party was really centered around him. It was getting corrupt long before he stepped down, but once he did - that's when the country properly goes to shit because it's got no direction or goal. Ramaphosa was someone that the country was pinning its hopes on in recent times to reverse the trend - but "I want things to be less shit" is proving to not be that strong of a direction.

The current crop of loons is perplexing. There is no "head" to any of these movements, and there's 14 different grievance hierarchies and goals that the groups are all expressing. What unites them? Who or what maintains order? What is the goal, and who decides on what that goal is? It's like skipping the whole 'inspiring leader champions a cause for change before its legacy slips into corruption' and hopping straight to the part where shadowy profiteers begin milking the system for their own parasitic gain.

Okay kids, be sure to remember Harvey Milk. Because if America's evil right-wing does decide to rise up and go full 1488; you'll share his fate.

For anyone not in the know; Harvey Milk was part of the political party in San Francisco, and some dude walked right into a council meeting and capped his ass. It's one of the defining moments that Nancy Pelosi gets to tout as what made her so anti-gun; because she was there in attendence and witnessed it.

The intersectional crowd has been trying to fold the whole Pride thing into their racial agenda for a few years now. It started with adding gross black and brown stripes to the pride flag.

This is now the 'official' Pride flag, and they've been working on going the extra mile by slapping the troon flag on as well. I saw a sign that had one half devoted to Pride and one half devoted to BLM while we were driving around earlier, and that's as close as I've seen to a nod towards the Gay Agenda ™ at the moment.

When that was first introduced, I seem to remember somebody pointing out that one of the original designs did have a black stripe... to represent those who died from AIDS.

They're no longer the pet grievance group and they're well aware, which is why there's a large push to divide the LGB from the T (see the LGB Alliance, currently listed as a hate group by like... everyone) and the Gender Critical sphere on Reddit/Tumblr/Twitter.

I have to say, I can't really blame them for wanting to split off. I know I was seeing people saying they wanted to "drop the T" a few years back, but I'm surprised enough people are actually pushing for it now to get noticed.

Setting off my gaydar. 🚨

First day out on bail and shopping for groceries with some a dude who doesn't appear to be family.

Both mostly quiet, stay close to each other.

Look very "domestic".

In case anyone hasn't seen it:

I am guessing the other dude with him is another officer that is with him on the force. I don't think Kueng can CCW while on bail so that is probably what the other dude is there for. Of course, all the above could still be true and they can still play hide the maglight.

the t is single handidly responsible for tolerance of lgbt people as a whole nosediving, at this point its sacrifice the troons like ballast or go down with the ship

now imagine if milk or nancy had a gun.

I've been real hung up on Wendy's. Wendy's can dish it out, but they can't take it. There was nothing to gain by taking a stand on BLM and gibs, and I can only hope now that
Wendy's sees that they're supposed to make fast food, not preach how much the lives of their employees matter. That twitter account hasn't said shit since the 4th of June.

The Pandemic and stuff meant they probably couldn't film much for the past couple months. The lockdown has been fucking over Disney insanely hard since they can't even make more shit for their streaming service.

I remember Harvey Milk really well...here is him with his 16 year old lover Jack Galen McKinley. Milk was 33 when he began his relationship with Jack. Oddly, this deep meaningful relationship was not included in the film and has been memoryholed at the Milk museum in SF. If any of you go to that museum and get a tour, be sure to ask where the photo of Milk and "16 year old" Jack is. The only reason I was not shown the door was because I was part of an academic tour group.

A biography of Milk by Randy Shilts says Milk began an affair with Jack Galen McKinley when Milk was 33 and McKinley was 16.

Hallyu was already a thing before fat South Americans and Taneishas discovered it. They've latched onto BTS and Monsta-X. It's not some grand conspiracy - if it's from the Vigilant Citizen, you may as well consult Ed Chiarini for news as well.

You say that the Hallyu isn't some grand conspiracy. But Lee Soo Man who met with the Rotheschilds and was the CEO of the first breakaway truly international Kpop company. He has taken personal interest in producing Loona, who is a Kpop group thats not even under his company. Even more strangely Loona comes from a brand new Kpop company who is a subsidiary under a Military development company.

Around the same time Lee Soo Man took a personal interest in Loona. Loona's main music video releases changed from a typical South Korean style to something you'd see in a US Nike commerical, completely out of line with SK industry standards. The CEO of Blockberry creative said even before Loona really took off and were still operating at a loss, that overseas investors he wouldn't name were bucketing money into their company.

Not sure if already posted, but Teddy Roosevelt's statue is being taken down at the Museum of Natural History (which wouldn't even exist without him.)

Edit: just saw the thread on A&H er... A&N.
Idk why (and going through the thread so might be late) but the link doesn't work. Just takes me to cloudflare error page.

Teddy literally dedicated his life to monument and park creation... apparently they're important to building a shared national identity and that helps create social harmony.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt:

"There is nothing so American as our national parks.... The fundamental idea behind the parks...is that the country belongs to the people, that it is in process of making for the enrichment of the lives of all of us."
Are enemy's hate and despise us. There are Envious of are wealth values and heritage. So they attack the founder of one are greatest treasures the national parks. Are very Inheritance.
Fuck them I'm done

I'm gonna... power level slightly, I guess? I attended college on the West coast briefly and got thrown into a history class with a rabid feminist who explained with great enthusiasm that Intersectionalism was birthed from the realization that the reason why feminism had such miserable success was because it hadn't hitched itself thoroughly enough to the civil rights movement.

Basically, according to her, the feminists realized they got dicked over (intentional pun, yeah, I know, shoot me) after they pushed for blacks to get the right to vote and women's suffrage was left in the dust for a long while afterwards. Apparently this divide was still on full display by the 60s and the civil rights push to end Jim Crow and expand rights for women (both sides were mostly out for themselves, although there was inevitable overlap).

As most people who've bothered to look into exactly how this abomination of a movement was birthed will tell you, lesbians were largely responsible for pushing feminism in the 60s. They've remained ardent backers and gay rights being added into the pot was the next logical step if you look at who was involved.

What I don't think any of them counted on was how degenerate men are and what would happen if you took a bunch of dudes, many of them severely mentally ill, pumped them full of hormones and self importance, and gave them political leverage.

The troon golem spawned by Intersectional feminism is now the MOST problematic to lesbians (suck girldick, bigot), and a big chunk of them want to carve out their own movement away from the troons.

Add the volatility of BLM to the mix and from the outside looking in (the only perspective I really have now since I can't stomach being around most of these people) it appears to be a house of cards ready to collapse. Whether current events will accelerate that or not I dunno, but there are absolutely fractures and I don't see how adding racial animosity over 9000 is going to help with the festering resentment that was already visible between the assorted tribes of feminists/SocJus adherants.
