The only way to redeem the series is if TLOU3 consists solely of Rattler punching zombies and small children.

At this point I just pray these lunatics dont fuck up the sequel to Zero Dawn. I have hope in that Guerrilla Games are Dutch and their prior franchise Killzone was pretty good. I hope they are taking note about what their sister Sony Studio has run into.
Aloy is pretty much the only Stronk Female Protagonist I like to come out of this cultural generations cesspool. But seeing what Sony did with the second part to another of its beloved new IPs I am scared.
r/iamverysmartND created a great story, far deeper for gamers to understand or comprehend, they are not used to deep and complex storytelling. The beauty of the story, and direction of it all. They made the most realistic post apocalyptic world ever created in all of gaming and even in any entertainment. They didn’t go for fan service, or for a plot armor story, they went into the realistic route, of what could have actually happened. There is no good or bad guy in this game, everyone is gray, which is brilliant, because this is a brutal post apocalyptic world, there is no order or justice, people take matters into their hands. Only the strong survives, that’s one of the reason why Abby is ripped, there nothing else to do. They really thought out of everything. I’m really upset that people don’t see the brilliance of this game, it’s a psychological horror masterpiece, based on realism not bias or taking sides, they made a very raw and believable take on the genre. This is some next level gaming right here, you will never see it ever again, because gamers aren’t intelligent enough for it.
I also want to say something about the ending, that a lot of people misunderstood, the reason she hated Abby is because she actually couldn't forgive herself for blaming Joel. In the end she realised this fact and she forgave her the way she should have forgiven Joel. I think the game is too mature for you or many others to understand.
FFS go and look at pictures of Druckmann 10 years ago and pictures of him now. The pictures look like a before and after conversion to Al Qaeda.

So here's a fresh take I don't think I've seen before.
Everything that Neil has done to this game - all the unneccessary, toneless writing and butchering of characters literally and figuratively - everything seems worse to me because though this style of writing seems like the kind that some embittered, lonely edgelord might do...Neil has a family. He has a wife and daughter. What?
Now I know that an artist can and should be separate from the things they create but you always put some of yourself into every story you write. If someone looks at the relationship between Joel and Ellie in the first game with that in mind, it's a really touching connection that the writer firsthand knows a father's loyalty to his daughter. But with this game in mind? The one where parental figures and pregnant women are slaughtered willy-nilly even though you know how heartbreaking that would be personally? I kind of actually feel sick. I can't imagine what Neil's daughter thinks about all this.![]()
based and bluepilledYou’re telling me every story needs to be inspiring and full of joy, you do realize the kind of world Last of Us is right? Or are you just dense or ignorant? I say both. It seems like there can’t be any dark and realistic harsh stories to be told anymore, everything has to be full of fake fan service, inserting hero endings cuz yeah all heroes in real life die like that, even tho most don’t. Also what does his daughter have to do with making a game about a harsh post apocalyptic world, it’s too realistic for your taste so you attack the man, saying he’s sick. I think you watched too much mcu movies. You’re far off from reality, and sadly we can’t make see realistic takes only fan service.
The shit I took in my toilet bowl was a more realistic post apocalyptic world.
That is a bad photoshop of a woman sitting on a mannequin. look closely at the upper body of the 'man', the waist, which is attached to the chair via bungee cord, and the left arm, which has a tag fixed to it with wire.Neil promises he never mocapped himself

Not real, though a pretty good photoshop to people who wish it to be true.Is... is that real?
Please let it be real. Please also let it not be real. The former because it would cement the fact that this is Dreckmann's wank fantasy through and through, and the latter because thinking of his hideous egg-shaped willy in a state of tumescence makes me feel more than a little queasy.
You're bait is not funny. It is annoying. You’re telling me every story needs to be inspiring and full of joy, you do realize the kind of world Last of Us is right? Or are you just dense or ignorant? lol, you’re upset a character died horribly as if most hero’s die otherwise, especially in a harsh world that is Last of us, you expected a hero’s death. Even tho Joel is a horrible person himself, he killed people, lied to Ellie, and prevented humanity from progressing but hey let’s forget all that and have him die happy. No consequence at all so realistic and logical right lol. What a fool lol. You have an anime bio so I don’t expect you to know what realism is.
With this many difficulty sliders, I'm surprised there isn't one for "Story."Trophies aren't affected by difficulty. And there are a lot of settings in regards to difficulty. Just look at this win button montage:

Might as well just watch a stream then. They took all this way too far. I guarantee most of these options are going to be used by people too lazy to learn how to press buttons. And they are going to screech bloody murder at anyone who criticizes them for using what amounts to cheats implemented as accessibility features.
There was already that autistic guy asking for autism mode. So I guess we will be seeing social interaction cues in TLOU3.![]()
Yeah no. Not buying it. For starters human societies do not trend towards a state of nature. If we want to talk realism, then the most realistic outcome of the mushroom apocalypse would be the formation of organized human societies devoted to destroying the zombie mushrooms. Surviving humans, especially surviving FEMALE humans would be more precious then bullets because they are the future. If we want to be realistic Abby would be in a tent somewhere being made to spit out babies like the wives of Abraham. Not leading a band of men. And the men running the show would be autistic to the point of religion at counteracting the cordyceps. Which means among other things coordinating with other bands to keep each other safe from the greater threat.
Secondly the mind that can argue there is no morality is deranged. Even in fucked up situations people can and must find morality. And when it comes to art its something we instinctively want to see. Nobody wants a story of suffering and pain without some sort of morality and emotional payoff. What makes Schindlers List brilliant is not its depiction of suffering. It's how we can follow one man rising above the misery to be something better. Which is why comparing this shit heap to Schindler's list is insulting. Because there is nothing to aspire too. This game draws from the nihilistic and destructive well of current year politics. It is vile, and dare I say, evil. I have not played it, but I have watched the streams of people playing it, and its evil. That is the only word to describe it.
Also Abby being buff is because her father is a big deal, he’s a doctor and the only man that knows how to find a cure, so she would be taken care of
lol did you assume they have to be religious to progress?
Are you really that dense lol. I stopped reading after that.
Also Abby being buff is because her father is a big deal, he’s a doctor and the only man that knows how to find a cure, so she would be taken care of, in the game she’s an WLF, she got everything she needs, she got all the facilities.
Well World War 2 stories are evil and harsh. God forbid, they make a realistic take on the genre and make something unique lol.

He died for no reason? Did you even play the first game and get to the end lol. Also what the hell are you talking about, do you even see what’s happening to this world? You need to get back to reality. The world is harsh and god forbid we voice these stories. Snowflake lol.Died for no reason you mean. Art is meant to touch the divine. Post modern Art seems to want to do the opposite. Forgive the majority of humanity for rejecting stories that seek to tap into the demonic realm of hell. For people who still possess sense, such things are upsetting in the extreme.
