The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Or, to put it bluntly, removed every single identifier of her as a woman.
I am reminded of this line in Watchmen, when Rorschach talked about the suspended liquid dress from a failed Dr. Manhattan clothing line he made his mask from.

Lani Minella on Laura Bailey.

Some Twitter gems.

Apparently UK box release of TLOU2 is higher than the first one. Which....lmao

I feel like Laura Bailey put far more passion into voicing characters like Rise Kujikawa than she did Abby, I've heard a lot of Abby's lines on streams and what not and It's insanely lazy and phoned in.

And..great now I'm imagining Rise with Abby's bodytype.

Man I wish Bailey would go fi-core. She did so much better when she was voicing characters like Lucina and Rise, and honestly sounded like she was having a lot of fun doing them. Now her output just feels really hollow and bland, despite her roles being much more high-profile. Like, you look at her past work in anime and non-union dubs, and she's voicing a wide variety of colorful characters ranging from cheery to villainous, and now she's stuck playing the same old "serious" roles over and over again.

She probably won't go fi-core though. SAG is doing everything they can to discourage its members from doing that after all.

At this point I just pray these lunatics dont fuck up the sequel to Zero Dawn. I have hope in that Guerrilla Games are Dutch and their prior franchise Killzone was pretty good. I hope they are taking note about what their sister Sony Studio has run into.

Aloy is pretty much the only Stronk Female Protagonist I like to come out of this cultural generations cesspool. But seeing what Sony did with the second part to another of its beloved new IPs I am scared.

This is the main problem with any long-term zombie apocalypse scenario that doesn't entirely wipe out humanity in a short period of time. They're dumb as shit. They wander off cliffs, walk straight into fires, suicidally attack even well armed humans, etc. If they didn't have a large pool of humans to convert, their numbers would rapidly dwindle even without anyone trying to do anything to them. Humans would eventually just move to where zombies couldn't go and wait for them to die, even if civilization was completely kaput and they couldn't come up with any better ideas.
Also, the virus would probably die out right? If it kills its hosts too well.

So I remember that Korean guy breaking the game was because the first game was sentimental to him because it released near after his father's death
And he got attached to Joel alot
And now they are pretty much bragging about killing him on Father's Day
It really puts into perspective that they are essentially mocking their audience for caring about Joel and it was probably extra hurtful to that dude since it's closely attached to losing his dad
but I guess anything for Neil to air out his obvious daddy issues by trolling people

So here's a fresh take I don't think I've seen before.
Everything that Neil has done to this game - all the unneccessary, toneless writing and butchering of characters literally and figuratively - everything seems worse to me because though this style of writing seems like the kind that some embittered, lonely edgelord might do...Neil has a family. He has a wife and daughter. What?

Now I know that an artist can and should be separate from the things they create but you always put some of yourself into every story you write. If someone looks at the relationship between Joel and Ellie in the first game with that in mind, it's a really touching connection that the writer firsthand knows a father's loyalty to his daughter. But with this game in mind? The one where parental figures and pregnant women are slaughtered willy-nilly even though you know how heartbreaking that would be personally? I kind of actually feel sick. I can't imagine what Neil's daughter thinks about all this. :heart-empty:

While I'm pleased with the idea of cheat codes making a comeback in the base game instead of being something they try to charge you for, I'm disappointed that the fun cheat codes of yore aren't anything that can be shoehorned into accessibility. What disability would, say, re-adding the blood in the Sega Genesis version of Mortal Kombat help with? Or the topless girl on the title screen in Rings of Power?
Being a child.

Accessibility is not just for certified cripples, it means "I will enjoy this game more if it has this option". Deaf people, tards who can't parse speech, and dirty foreigners need subtitles. Some dirty foreigners would appreciate a translation to their language. Photosensitive epileptics can't tolerate flashing lights, 3d sick people need 3d tweaks such as fov and head bobbing, poorfags need to turn off effects, squeamish and sensitive people might want to turn off blood, and children might want to emphasize child-friendliness, then maybe add the blood and tits when mom isn't looking.

It makes perfect sense when you realize he has converted to an orthodox religion. What Neil has done to this game franchise is what any new convert does with reminders of their heretical past. Destroy it. And make a big show of doing so. Which he has done, to the applause of his fellow religious adherents.

Its abundantly obvious by now Intersectional Social Justice and all the "studies" and "theories" that fall under its umbrella constitutes a non-theistic religion. FFS go and look at pictures of Druckmann 10 years ago and pictures of him now. The pictures look like a before and after conversion to Al Qaeda.

God fucking damn I thought people saying there was an option to auto-complete puzzles was a joke.

Its not.

What used to be cheat codes are now literally just 'accessibility options'.

Trophies aren't affected by difficulty. And there are a lot of settings in regards to difficulty. Just look at this win button montage:

Might as well just watch a stream then. They took all this way too far. I guarantee most of these options are going to be used by people too lazy to learn how to press buttons. And they are going to screech bloody murder at anyone who criticizes them for using what amounts to cheats implemented as accessibility features.

There was already that autistic guy asking for autism mode. So I guess we will be seeing social interaction cues in TLOU3.
