Because of this, they can downward spiral into negative behaviors since no one is correcting them. I'm almost tempted to watch that befriending the internet episode to get what he means by "cognitive assonance". Assonance is the repetition of vowel sounds to create sort of a rhyme. It's a pretty basic literary device but what did he mean by this? It does imply harmony but only through rather basic repetition and relies on itself for context without which it is meaningless. I don't know what impression I was supposed to get from that title but to me it said "shallow, self referential and relies too heavily on gimmick. Maybe this wasn't the impression he was going for but it seems accurate nonetheless.

I see lots of Genshiken and cute girls shows farther down, but I'm not really incentivized to continue.
