Yes exactly Bernie was considered the safe option. Think about that.
I think this can be for two reasons other than some big conspiracy of them working together.
1) is that Bernie is not very Attack oriented. He tries to play friend with everyone so much that it hurts his chances with the DemocRats. Tulsi was very attack oriented in the debates, really driving home injustices carried out by her opponents. She seems to get off on making them have to face their previous actions. She is also effective as Harris was said to have dropped due to her, and Pete was nearly killed from my point of view. He was lucky to have been able to escape that confrontation with a random outlandish statement.
Bernie seems to go more off on what he wants to do rather than really attacking a person. While I can see your point, I believe there is also room to say that he is just kind of a nice guy, maybe too nice, and really lacks many Attack strategies that do not involve policy.
2) It is Bernie Sanders. The dude has emassed a huge following and arguably makes up the main bulk of Democrat supporters. If the DNC wants to make Bernie appear like he was taken out “legitimately“ he has to debate Biden, otherwise it would be a clear as day rigging. Tulsi was barely put in the public eye, so much so that my CNN watching mom lacked any knowledge of who she was. By letting Sanders debate it would prove that Biden was better to the Gen X CNN watchers who know nothing of the behind the scenes. I think that is why Biden was chosen in the first place. They are playing off Obama nostalgia to get the older generations, primarily X and Millenial. With this nostalgia, they do not question Biden winning because of course he would, Obama was the best president after all.
Maybe I am being too optimistic though...
This isn't true really. Bernie's supporters even the really hardline actual commies were doing so under no impression he was going to start a revolution. Most of bernie's supporter's don't even watch MSNBC never mind CNN. What really was behind the broad coalition of assorted commies and race hucksters supporting bernie is that they believed that his presidency would be a transitional period between democratic socialism and full communism with the heads of the various organisations assuming positions during his presidency with increasing control as Bernie bows out to the woke commisariat leaving them in control. They really were(and this is from their own words) supporting him in the hope of a non-revolutionary solution. This is where the hashtag #BernieOrVest came from. Meaning that Bernie was to be elected or his supporters would get their demands via revolution. This was also why you had those hardline antifa guys threatening that Milwaukee would burn in those veritas videos. This was the goal all along to group up rather innocuous orgs together, put seasoned protest leaders in contact with them and then blackpill the fuck out of them making them willing to follow said protest leaders.
No one was under the impression he was a full communist in fact the actual commies were ragging on him for being a "reformer" in between saying they were still voting for him anyway.
I can agree to a lot of this. I guess the issue is the weird mix Bernie has when it comes to supporters, but then again Trump is the same in terms of me being unable to get a good read. I have seen his supporters range from bipartisan Trump supporters to full communists. There are likely also people in between that have no idea what they are asking for, or are just trying to get clout through SJW ideas.
Many of them chant revolution, but likely mean exactly what you said. They do not want to be violent, but want a change in many aspects of government. It does not help that Bernie himself chants revolution, which stirs the overall pot. Essentially, revolution is nothing more than the non violent change, you brought up, for these people. But on the other side, you have organizations like Antifa which are the extremists that needs to be shut down. I lack knowledge on if Bernie has ever encouraged them, but they seem to operate on their own and use Bernie as a symbol of sorts. I honestly do not know if I should blame him or not?
He does need to stop bowing out though. It makes him look weak overall. It was acceptable in 2016 as he was likely trying to get another chance at presidency, but twice is too much. I hope Tulsi and Yang do not fall into the same trap, though them supporting Biden really is the ultimate stab when they were so against the DNC. There needs to be a change within the party otherwise I cannot wait for the likely post-Trump republicans to act more like Democrats than the actual party itself and take all the victories.
