The Last of Us Franchise - Because it's apparently a franchise now. This thread has been double-DMCA’d by Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Yeah, but then they'd have to make Abby black too, and people already had a hard enough time accepting a trans-woman.
The less they accept the more aggressive cuckman can go on twitter with -ist-ism-ophobia.
I think it would have been funnier to watch Resetera lose their mind about a gorilla beating a lesbian half to death and caving a pregnant womans face in.
And we would have good laugh watching these caricatures bash each others heads in. And all the extra meltdown on social media. More memes.

Absolute win win.

In the grim dark future, there is only Whole Foods.

That doesn't bode well for me. I once tried one of their microwavable instant soups and thought I was eating the cardboard packaging it came in.

What exactly prevents the elders from going "lol, you still have girl holes" and going to town on that peep?

Or be like Ninjette's clan in "Empowered" and point out that you don't need arms or legs to get pregnant while brandishing a sword.

And I wish I was Kojima; I may not like some of his games, but the man is a creative and insane bastard who actually made good games as chief manager.

I'm of two minds here: Hideo Kojima is a good writer and storyteller, but the man needs to be reigned in to a certain extent. Giving him an unlimited budget and indefinite development time is asking for trouble.

Remember that when Anita did Women in Refrigerators she actually never read any of the comics she talked about. A friend did that for her. So she essenially had no idea what the hell she was talking about and insulted comic book fans while simultaneously getting asspats by her idiotic fanbase.

Wait...wasn't it Gail Simone who came up with that? Or did Anita Sarkeesian do a series of videos with the same name?

It's interesting how a lot of people are unfazed seeing fictional (or even actual) people being brutalized or killed, but completely lose their shit at the sight of an animal being abused or killed.

Kevin Bacon made the same observation about "Hollow Man". He noted that audiences seemed more disturbed that he invisi-killed a dog than when he invisi-raped a woman.

From what I recall hearing about how game development tends to go for VAs these days, there's a decent chance that all he knew from his own work were Joel's lines. [...] Especially if there was alternative dialogue recorded that ultimately went unused due to story changes.

I agree. It's probably cheaper to book a voice actor once for two hours and have him record as much dialogue as possible to cover every possible contingency than to book a second session for pickups (especially due to potential scheduling conflicts).

Yeah, but then they'd have to make Abby black too, and people already had a hard enough time accepting a trans-woman.

Something tells me that a black transwoman mercilessly beating an old straight white man to death with a golf club may have been the only way to get people to like Abby given the current zeitgeist.

I love seeing people mock the defenders.

you know if they really wanted to push a "REVENGE IS BAD" plot, could've had Ellie kill Abby at the end, leave Lev alive. Fast forward two or three years, Ellie is happy in her lesbian house, knock on the door, it's Lev with a gun, credits.

just after seeing all these people on twitter crying "ELLIE SHOULD'VE GOT HER REVENGE" that would've been a much better way to drive the point home to those people instead of blue balling them.
Lev kills Ellie then shoots itself because 41%

The end.

A black transwoman is bulletproof in the current year. But even if Abby was black, she is so awful that even race wouldn't get her many passes by the chucklefucks still excusing this dumpster fire.

He's not black, it's just shitty lighting.

He also looks about 75. Maybe the idea was to make him look like a scary nightmare surgeon. If so they did a great job.

I think that does pretty much align with human nature tho... Dogs / animals in general are essentially always innocent.... or at the very least are not capable of deceit or guile. They pretty much never deserve whats coming to them. The same thought process holds true for little kids... but for grown adults? Well, they are more than capable of being complete shit. To some degree, I think we all victim-blame if even only for a moment.... it's something subconscious... "maybe that person was an asshole and deserved it".
