I bet Zack wishes he had taken that one last class to get his Associate's Degree. At least that would be one definitive thing he could put down on his resume. LOL, who am I kidding? Zack's not going to be sending out resumes. He's not going to be applying for jobs. He thinks Heather's going to be right back to normal, working long shitty hours while he ignores her in favor of the internet. Guess what, Zack? Those days are over.

I know we are all excited about bankruptcy saga but as soon as Heather stopped being able to work I am 100% sure she qualified for Medicaid so all this will be freeeeee

It just might be. Florida Medicaid is ran by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the cutoff (according to benefits.gov) for a family of four is $34,846. If the kids qualify for reduced price/free school lunch, then that's a good indicator. The best way for Zinnia to thank the doctors and nurses involved is to make sure that all forms are filled out in a timely fashion, so the hospital can bill for these procedures.

BTW we're not looking for the "bankruptcy" saga. (We had that with DSP.) We're looking for the "Zinnia gets kicked to the curb" saga, and I'm cautiously optimistic we might have it!

Does Zach even have any candidates lined up to replace Heather as his pay-pig?

Not that I know of. Zack's future is probably a small apartment shared by other tranny degenerates. Someone will give him a pity place to stay, and he'll quickly wear out his welcome anywhere he goes. The situation with Heather was pretty unique, I don't see anyone else letting him be so lazy and self-absorbed. If he actually has to put in any work taking care of Heather, I see him leaving or getting kicked out within six months. If Heather doesn't need much actual physical help, I can see Zack just plopping her on a couch all day to zone out in front of the TV while he continues shoving ever larger things up his ass for the internet to gawk at, and writes long and boring posts about trannyism that no one but us reads (I don't, myself). He might even prefer that situation.

I guess it's going to depend on the level of help Heather needs and the amount of disability income and family financial help she receives. As long as Zack doesn't have to do much and the money is good enough that he doesn't have to work, he'll stay.

Striatal capsular hemorrhage is typical of stroke; cerebral venous-sinus thrombosis isn't.
I know it's dumb, but I'm always so impressed by how knowledgeable a lot of our userbase is. I guess it's not that unusual, as people of all stripes enjoy gossip, but it's still pretty incredible. At any rate. . .
almost every place around here that does retail, manufacturing or restaurant stuff is actually offering sign on bonuses. I can't imagine it's only where I am.
I'm on the East Coast, & it's the same here. I imagine Zinnia's main point of contention is he's "too good" for retail or food service. Which I can kind of understand, because I wouldn't want to do that either, but the difference is that I've a) worked them before, & b) pursued a college education so I could (ideally) have better employment prospects. Has Zinnia EVER had a minimum wage job, even as a teenager? I don't remember seeing that explicitly mentioned.

Another thing that's been bothering me---wasn't he brought on an episode of I Am Jazz as a "gender analysist" or something? I'm surprised he didn't continue to capitalize on that.

Medicaid pays for a lot of things, but not everything. If you break a bone or something, you're still on the hook for some radiology services, for example.
The difference is that she might be in 200k of debt instead of 700k.

Now that we have his attention: Zach, go knock on the door of Rhys McKinnon. He can easily spare a few grands towards Heather's medical bills (whether he would do it is another matter). Rhys cites your website in his latest academic paper so he owes you. It's good to have some rich friends if you're a layabout; Zach should have latched onto Jaron Bloshinsky when he had the chance.,

That one really got to him, he even remembers the date :story:

Say my name :smug:

He's gotta be seething I'm still right. Where are the streets full of corpses and overrun hospitals, Zach? Your first-hand experience of a leisurely treatment at the hospital should tell you something. So should the falling death rates, but I know actually learning statistics takes a back seat to you posing in children's schoolgirl uniforms and stuffing your gungy ass.

Also amazed he can sperg for 10 tweets about the virus without once mentioning the protesters who just had a giant worldwide orgy for nearly 3 weeks.

It's such a dilemma for him. If he brings them up in a negative way, he'll get called a racist (which he is) - if he brings them up in a positive way, he'll have to admit the virus isn't such a big deal:

You're wasting your time, Zach's still in the phase of STEM education where he thinks that it's significantly less subjective than the Humanities.

Ah, no, my dude. Clear-cut answers are extremely thin on the ground once you get further in- way, way worse than liberal arts disciplines. Unless you're a literal genius, there are strong soft skills requirements for success. Upper div /grad courses on Roman orators, in Latin, are an absolute cakewalk compared to proving and defending your shit for statistical forecasting (time series etc) courses.

Something something lies, damned lies, and statistics. Even worse in science is that if you want funding you have to kiss all the right asses and your research better make those right asses a lot of fucking money. I knew a lot of professors who were so passionate about their research but so fucking jaded about the field overall, actually that probably describes the vast, vast majority of them once they're more than a couple years into it. Not to mention most people don't understand how much you have to crunch the fuck out of the data and transform it in every which way to maybe sniff out a passable correlation, if you haven't taken advanced functions/calculus, experimental design in the sciences, biostatistics and (obviously) basic statistics it's probably going to be difficult to conceptualize. That's why it's dangerous to leap to any conclusions based off a couple of studies, and why it's so crucial for scientists to mention the limitations of their study and suggest other things that should be further investigated in the conclusion. Oh yeah and the profit motive means there's a lot of plain old fucking shoddy research out there too.

I'm going to be charitable but honest here and state that I don't think Zach is totally stupid, but since his education is so limited the Dunning-Krueger effect is strong here. I actually think he might be able to hack it in university, but if we go by what he says and presume that he's acing his remedial courses, he's probably got a "big fish small pond" thing happening and since we know he's a lazy fucker I suspect he'll invent an excuse to drop out once it starts getting challenging (assuming he didn't already do that with his "one course away from graduating" bullshit but who knows). He's got an easy out too, he can just say he's not taken seriously because of all the disgusting porn and oversharing he's done on the internet, and it's not like there is no truth to that. No one is going to want to work with the creepy horse dildo guy.

Yeah and if it's not on track with a pre-published plan then it's most likely just plain crap. "Science" is ABSOLUTELY RIDDLED with thin garbage results you get from shuffling shit around til you get a "significant" result from random chance, then lying about how much you fucked with the data.

Assuming the whole method works correctly anyway, which... Oops.

It's all the worse when your conclusion is POPULAR, because then another huge crowd of idiots will massage their data to match yours.
Absolutely, Vanilla Pepsi, I'm going off wife-ranting since I'm an engineer. I don't know where Zach got the idea that stats is for dummies from, but... not in my experience, man.

ZJ absolutely could go on to a PhD. Some slight powerleveling here, but I used to work at a community college for awhile after I finished school, and I met all kinds of people from various educational backgrounds, many of whom went on to be incredibly successful. It isn't that uncommon to encounter people who dropped out of high school to work because of poverty, or because of having to raise a child as a teen parent, and for various other factors. A lot of these folks are very smart and just needed to wait until the right time to get their GED, go to community college, and transfer to university.

My concern specifically is just how much work graduate school is. Zinnia balks at even getting a part time job, so I can't imagine how he would react to having to having to deal with teaching, graduate course reading (which is honestly a full-time job in itself), grading, and writing. At some point he'll need to decide it's time to get a work ethic, or... he won't and those professors were just too damn transphobic. Honestly, he's smart, but that only gets you so far when you have zero work ethic.

I find the way in which Zach tweets everything a bit suspicious. And very childish:

I'm sure 99% of your followers are adults, Zach. And we all know what therapy is about. And I doubt you're glad to "learn" this, you're glad you LOOK like you're doing something and you think normal humans don't know what therapy is about, lol. He sounds like a munchie playing with a new toy, lmao.

does he (or them) have any real life friends locally? why are people not lining up to help? I am a miserable misanthropic bitch but any crisis big or small and even I have a bunch of people who care enough about me to help me out. rides, food, rent, vet visits, dr visits, paperwork etc.

He has no one. Just like Shoe was crying about having no friends. These people only surround themsleves with either fans or yesmen. And here we are.

I find the way he makes sure we all know how dedicated he is to helping her very performative. Especially after spending the last 6 months whining about his ex-boyfriend and barely even mentioning his wife. I mean, yeah, I get that it can take a disaster to really make you appreciate what you’ve got, but this feels so much like he’s trying to show himself to be the greatest husband in the world. Wonder what the endgame is here?

I agree, it sounds fake and odd. Feels like uncanny valley, like a robot or an alien trying to pass as a human being.
