I don´t think anyone is pro-mastercard controlling everything. But everyone can laugh at Dicks clumpsy attempt at controlling the autistic side of the internet. I don't believe Dax is telling the truth about his reason why. He's changed his story more than once. First it was Corona Virus (all when he was using the whole anti-covid protesting stuff as his political cause of the week), then he went on stream with Nick to talk about how he was having issues because he was suspected of money laundering, now he's saying it's because of free speech (his rallying cry that got him tons of money when Maddox was de platforming him).

No one here loves Master Card. No one here loved Discover card when they were the ones fucking with NP2 and shut it down the first time allegedly (I am questioning if that was true or bullshit now). No one here loved Chase bank when they allegedly closed his account because the "could not prove NP2 was not being used for online gambling". No one here loved CoVid19 when it screwed with the world and allegedly shut down NP2.

Dax has said time and time again, he will drop anyone that is a problem for NP2. If Null was really the issue why was he not given the chance to drop Null and talk about it with him? I don't buy Null being the reason for this happening either as the solution to drop him would of been easy and made good content for Dax's show.

I don't believe Dax at all. The money laundering and online gambling stuff seems more likely since Dax can't use it as show content to pretend to be a victim for money. When you have Dax tweeting out shit about NP2 like "Criminals welcome" and talking about on the show about how he likes doing illegal stuff, is it really a surprise Dax is getting this kinda treatment? The problem isn't Null. The problem isn't Ralph. This problem isn't free speech in payment processing. The problem is the human being filling out every role in his corporation is saying and doing the dumbest shit possible that can get clipped and reported to the financial institutions who might not appreciate the CEO of NP2 dropping their name and bragging that criminals are allowed to earn money through his processing service. upon taking a moment to think about what you said a bit more and read what you wrote, I realized I was more wrapped up in making your post tie to the subject matter of the thread and was talking past you, rather than focusing on the actual words you wrote. I also believed my small paragraph of "no love for (fill in blank)" was addressing that point, and to a small extent was but upon re-reading and reflecting was more talking past you and your actual words.

I agree, the police would of done nothing more or less unless they had video of the owner pulling up and cutting the wire on the camera (which mysteriously was non existent because.... reasons?).
However in small claims court where Dax was threatening to take Buzz Bee's (I think that's the unironic name of the venue), Cancelled contract + threatening texts + police report showing home damages = bigger victory for a more solid case. In Dax's own words Police are glorified insurance statement form fillers, and in a case like this that is exactly what he would want.

This is part of how things like the simpseracy became such a shit show. I think many people who frequent this side of the interwebz are too invested in Dax and don't want to come to terms with him and his crew tricking people into thinking they are fighters for the old internet that used to be. Lots of people don't wanna believe the guy who exposed Maddox is arguably as bad (if not worse) just in different ways. It's a sunken cost fallacy. To accept this is to accept that you have been decieved and potentially made a fool of. Nobody likes to feel like a fool. This is why you will see people double and tripple down even in the face of obvious evidence they are wrong. People guard their ego as much as they guard their real lives and few can just let it go and willingly come to terms with being wrong or having made mistakes.

Think of it this way, if anyone else other than Dax Herrera started a payment processor with shit security, privacy policies, sketchy banking ties, had banks shut him down for "online gambling", openly courted criminals, had a acceptance process where the owner personally hand selected you so there is no plausible deniability for not knowing who was on your site getting money, banked with sketchy Chinese banks, was missing content that was available on patreon, had customer service that screamed at you to buy content twice off of patreon when confronted about this issue, had the CEO get into twitter screaming matches with users, then once it closed down for good change the story of why it can't reopen 3 times (the most plausible of those three be suspicion of money laundering), then try to tell people you are a victim and a maurder for free speech after getting caught flagging PodAwful's stuff reading texts in an unlisted medium article that his ex wrote that also mysteriously got flagged down we would all be laughing and making fun of them on Twitter.

I agree. At the same time this idiots poor handling of his payment processing + A-logs he knew about since before he spoke with Null = someone the site cares about getting hurt. There are a lot of feels ATM on many peoples part and the wounds are too fresh for many to step back and not be as attached or invested. This is why many people would rather have a discussion about the PATRIOT ACT instead of laugh at how obvious it was Dax was a con man and an idiot trying to build himself a troll shield.
