Haven't some of them outright said they were inspired by CA? He may just be an orbiter but Quinton Reviews is definitely imitating Nostalgia Critic. Is it me or breadtubers are heavily inspired by nostalgia critic? They are like channel awesome of political commentary.
Aaaaand I have a new entry to my personal "things I would rather watch my granny getting gangraped by an entire leper colony than be forced to sit through" listPeter Coffin recently decided to debate Milo Yiannopolis.
Hey it might be funny. If Milo asks about Peter's child grooming habits maybe we'll get a slapfight.Aaaaand I have a new entry to my personal "things I would rather watch my granny getting gangraped by an entire leper colony than be forced to sit through" list
Anglos were the "nicest" of the colonial overlords, so it's almost inevitable that they'd fall for white guilt and moralfaggotry first (Even Nietzsche noticed it in his day). Also, the stereotypical British accent has prestige in leftie circles especially because Tumblrettes love British TV shows, so Anglos have an advantage one might call "privilege" in that sphere.just realized that most of these guys are fucking anglos
Anglo philosophy? Really makes you think...
People on the left level this complaint at right-wingers fairly often too, but you do actually see right-wing groups organize to help each other. TRS might be spergy but their pool parties connect like-minded men and foster self improvement and money pooling for bad times. The Proud Boys have crowdfunded legal defenses for their fellow members and act more like a men's fitness club with social activism tacked onto it."This is why the Breadtube community is kind of a joke. For so many its about optics and not actually helping people. Because sitting around jacking yourself off talking about how good of a leftist you are is more important than actually trying to benefit people."
For all the talk about how Breadtube is about acknowledging social issues and trying to correct them, do any of the them actually volunteer to help at all? I don't think I've ever seen them talk about helping out in soup kitchens, charities, orphanages, hospice care, community cleaning etc.... I'm pretty sure all they do is talk about issues like that will help.

Even on the Libertarian Left there are groups that successfully do organize to empower people with skills, like the Pink Pistols. You might not believe in gay or tranny stuff, but they teach gun safety and help get concealed carry permits for people.
Breadtube and the radical Communist Left are twisting in the wind proclaiming what should be done but doing nothing to help each other.
It's like that here but with a more religious bent. They're traditionalist, sometimes nationalist, but most of all very, very Christian. The majority of charitable work done in America is done by Christian organizations.I'm not sure how it is in Western countries, but the people I've met based on my experiences volunteering for charity work would be categorized as "right-wing": nationalist, traditional values, very politically incorrect.
Breadtubers find it easier to LARP as wise political commentators inspiring the masses to understand the 'reality' of our Capitalist society while they make bank off of patreon. At best they may show up to a local peace protest or write an angry letter to an institution to de-platform somebody they believe to be "problematic"."This is why the Breadtube community is kind of a joke. It does help that he has a fucking harem of questionably age mistresses and somehow despite his miscondcut he still is just known as the pipeline guy.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7s2BLwkk7WI
Have they won yet? Cos it seems to me that the Anti-SJWs are still going strong while BreadTube is the one in shambles with all the infighting & such.
Anyone else find the cartoon avatar of him smiling smugly while listening to his headphones annoying? He's been using it in the thumbnail of every video (apart from livestreams) ever since his name change from Pigpuncher to Xanderhal. And I don't know what it is about it, but it honestly makes me wanna punch him.![]()
I actually can't think of a single Breadtuber who's gone to a protest. Are there any?Breadtubers find it easier to LARP as wise political commentators inspiring the masses to understand the 'reality' of our Capitalist society while they make bank off of patreon. Imagine that MovieBob outperforms you in performative wokeness.I actually can't think of a single Breadtuber who's gone to a protest. Are there any?
Not that I know of. But I can imagine one of the less upper-class breadtubers summoning the motivation to go to a peaceful protest in their nearest urban location. Meaning one they can comfortably take a selfie and upload on social media to feel important, without much risk of violence or police intervention.I actually can't think of a single Breadtuber who's gone to a protest. Quinton is likely one of the few that you can call directly aping the Nostalgia Critic format that fully knows what it is. Contra on the otherhand has clearly seen alot of CA content, I think the bulk of them are taking notes from Contra.Haven't some of them outright said they were inspired by CA? That's a good point. Without people talking about CA it's hard to tell who is a copy and who is copying a copy.Quinton is likely one of the few that you can call directly aping the Nostalgia Critic format that fully knows what it is. Not really a person that uses reddit, but I was under the impression that CTH's subreddit engaged in some luminescent levels of fedposting.r/ChapoTrapHouse was recently banned. The big-brains of r/BreadTube are taking this just as well as one would think:
