The problem is of course what happens when being woke results in them losing money thanks to canceling a cash cow. Harry Potter for years and years has been a cash cow, with the only real hurdle to this being that JK is like Graham Linehan in the sense that she's unwoke with a very specific issue. Hell they even split up the last book into two movies so they could milk it.
All that's been happening lately is either low budget shows being canceled (how much money does it take to make LivePD or COPS), old episodes being nuked from streaming services (fueling DVD sales), and some voice actors being recast. These are all lower cost than canceling a high budget game designed to sell millions because the creator of the franchise isn't quite woke enough.
But then again there's so many surprises these days that if they did cancel it to please a gaming forum that doesn't play games, it wouldn't shock me either.
