Speaking of as a man of faith, I understand the need to question religions. Some horrible shit has been done in the name of god(s). I wish people were a bit more understanding of each other. But the assholes in all groups sort of muddy the waters.

I do my best to be understanding of opposite view points, it can be hard at times though.

I can't even watch the gatherings where you can tell the people are just wanting to wander around be a part of something. I've found most modern athiests aren't atheists because they can't determine if God exists (in one form or another); they're atheists because they don't like what the Christian God decreed either recently or thousands of years ago. The interview with Senator Mike Braun was pretty entertaining too. He really hammered Braun on the Rayshard Brooks case. Braun kept equivocating and avoiding the question of whether the officer should be facing the death penalty, even when Tucker asked him flat out what the officer should have done after having a taser fired at him.

Braun's argument of "we have to be part of the conversation" was pretty weak as well. Hasn't he been around long enough to know that if you give an inch, the left will take a mile? Qualified immunity only protects officers from civil suits anyways, in the case of clear misconduct, they should be charged criminally.

Yeah qualified immunity is basically just a beefed up "good samaritan" law and is obviously necessary for first responders

a lot of them had a bad childhood experience and couldnt grasp why God would let this happen. the whole idea of "its all part of Gods plan" didnt make sense to them. see Chris Raygun for example.
