Dr. Disrespect permanently banned from Twitch - Turns out he was a groomer

With Hasan being such a pussy around women that it took him forever to do anything with fucking Mia Malkova, I doubt he'd do something worth getting MeToo'd. He just doesn't have the confidience for it.
You're talking about Hasan Piker from TYT.
The guy getting MeToo'd is Hassan Bokhari.

I wanna know why Coca Cola doesn't sponsor any gaming events like Monster and Bang does.

Coke's energy drink is far superior to both Monster and Bang.

I think it's because Monster is more or less a de facto subsidiary of Coca-Cola in most of North America, so they're covered on that front. IIRC, the brand is jointly owned between Coca-Cola and the more regional Hansen's soft drink brand.

Plus Monster's image has always appealed to the "extreme sports and gamer" crowd since the early 2000's.

However, the odd thing is that discord and several sponsors also distanced themselves from him. Perhaps it was done to prevent the anger of the Twitch soys?
many of these companies have business ties with each other
if the guy was really caught doing a major breach of contract, others would likely back off from him too

It's not Brown Fabio, it's another Hassan.

Would anyone have confidence handling an unstable nuke while naked?
You're thinking about it backwards.

The ones without confidence are the ones who get metoo'ed, not because of what they did or didn't do, or may have done, but because they don't keep their receipts or defend themselves. They just voluntarily climb onto the pyre which makes them convenient and easy targets. Entirely different group than actual sexual predators, who if anything are over-confident in their social networks, and rogue's galleries of connections, enablers, and accomplices.

It took thirty years for Harvey Weinstein to go down, and he only went down because the people in his sex trafficking and defense network turned him out to save themselves.

yeah the bulk of #metoo targets seem to be spineless pushovers who get burned at the stake for committing the capital crime of 'flirting while beta'

They are a bunch of shivering jelly-men huddled together for warmth and safety while silently watching shivering jelly-man #958 get launched into the sun because someone felt uncomfortable being in his kitchen when he asked if she wanted a cup of coffee.

A corporate lawyer looking over the situation, especially in regards to Doc's sponsorships being reinstated.

I agree that this has got to being some boring legal shit that happens behind the scenes, not any kind of serious criminal or sexual act. I'm thinking that Doc being all mysterious and shit is partly him playing up the conspiracy theory character, and partly because Twitch has a history of being vague and misleading towards the people they ban anyway. Builds his brand so he can jump to YouTube or Facebook's Mixer. Unless he did something that would get him vanned immediately, which hasn't happened yet, Doc's big enough that he'll land on his feet somewhere else.

The idea that Twitch is opportunistically ditching Dr. Disrespect so they can resign the safer Ninja and/or Shroud is interesting too.

I don't believe this is boring legal shit. To me, the only plausible theory is a federal investigation into something the public would find abhorrent. Dog fighting, human trafficking, minors, something gross. Stealing from charity might qualify, but I doubt it. Just because he has not been arrested by the sheriff doesn't mean he isn't federal custody or under investigation.

I must say though, I am insanely curious about what is going on considering I don't pay attention to or give a shit about any of the parties involved.

If that would be the case the media would already gotten wind of it and would have made it a top cover story. You can't arrest one without the public knowing it, specially in the USA where such information is publicly available. All the tv/media teams have someone running a police radio scanner, the moment they would have shown up in front of Doc's house they would have been there.
I knew it! Doc is a glowie! The firing was just another part of his cover story as an CIA super operative.
Most likely he's already down there in Venezuela with his fellow super secret operatives Shroud and Tim the tat man.
Edit: Why else would his wife have the name Mrs. Assassin? Huh? Yeah, exactly.
I'm running out of tinfoil.

Also: Help my sides!

A streamer I was just watching said that he contacted some people close to Twitch re: Doc's ban and was given a "hint" as to what happened, but that it wasn't specific enough to easily draw a conclusion. His chat pressed him to give up details and he finally said (roughly): "This is the kind of thing that I don't think will leak soon. I don't think people will find out for a while what actually went down."

I wonder what that means in the context of Doc himself saying he didn't know the specifics either?
