You know, there's another thing I was thinking about when looking at this POS "comic"... The fact that there are people like this who are apart of the LGBTQ community and their struggle to be accepted, despite the heavy hurdles they unfortunately and unfairly do face - that this "comic" does not address well, nor even attempt to effectively address at all! Too bad Tumblr loves this trash so much that they think this is something that could speak for the LGBTQ community as a whole, which is absolute BS.

I can easily say that if this is the kind of raggedy nonsense that serves as a platform for anyone feeling oppressed because they feel they are something they aren't - they deserve some... SOME of the oppression they get for not looking at the bigger issue nor how to tackle it properly. I wouldn't be surprised if I found myself apart of said oppression of these people, if only to not just knock some sense into them, but to show them just how wrong they are about a lot of things. And for the record, I would hate to be seen as the bad guy in this brand of "oppression", but I cannot allow myself to side with people who think emulating this kind of behavior, whether it be from a comic or just on their own volition (which is just as bad, if not, worse!) to be any modicum of the term A-OK. It just... ain't.

It doesn't seem like I've fully articulated my further thoughts on this all that well, so TL;DR - Not only would I continue to be thankful that kids in general who are apart of the LGBTQ community not emulate such awful behavior, but that adults in general (whom may also be apart of said community) never, ever think this behavior ever be A-OK, especially if they want to be respected anytime soon in the future. I'd hate to have to be against them, otherwise, if only to teach them something they should learn all on their own - that mutual respect, despite our differences, goes a long way toward real progress.

...Something a POS "comic" like this cannot, nor should ever even think of trying to do when it fails so fucking hard.

I've lived in Austin, and this is literally it. *sigh*

Here's where you can buy Assigned Male merch: https://www.etsy.com/shop/AssignedMale

Count me in as bewildered that there is merch of this POS... Seriously, buying that crap is just asking to be negatively labeled, and for good reasons - which is also something else I meant to elaborate on about all of this noisemaking dear author is doing just to stay some modicum of relevant.

I love how so many of the other characters are trying their best to be understanding of Stephie being trans, and all she does is bitch them out. I haven't seen such a colossal fail at writing a likable character in a while now.

It's almost as bad at creating likable main characters as Moon Over June.

... Almost.

There's a reason why I still refer to LGBT as LGBT and not the LGBTQRSTUV Tumblrinas desperately want IT to be called. The number one reason is having people highjack a movement so they can push their agenda and completely ignore what it was originally about. See also, Occupy Wallstreet and Gamergate.

God damn my curiosity... Well I'm off to find some brain bleach.. I'll stop at Costco and pick up some in bulk for everyone here who googled that..

Penguins won't judge: Because they're fucking birds that don't even have a concept of "self". Hell they're not even mammals!

On a random note, I'm getting the suspicion that the author is possibly also one of those crazy pro-Quebec independence nationalists as how he/she insists on writing a lot in French despite clearly knowing English and also never mentions Canada in the printing location but instead: "Printed in Montreal, Quebec, on 100% recycled paper." Is this a thing that I'm over thinking or is this a thing that the French-Canadians that hate the rest of Canada do?
