This entire mess has forced me to revisit the first American Civil War from a different perspective. We got the confederate narrative of States rights with a lost cause. The Union beat them and freed the slaves.

But that is not the entire story. The Federal Side had a level of passion and ideology behind it as well. "The Battle Hymn of the Republic" could not be sung by a bunch of jackbooted thugs out to smash peoples rights.

The current USA is the Union that won the war and it is now what is trying to be destroyed. These fools are trying to paint the Union cause with the sins it paid in blood to expunge.

My favorite game is to play count the California License plates. None of them can drive for shit and they will cut off semi-trucks.
