Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I'm reluctantly on his side because Biden is in the team with the mass gun confiscation and slavery reparations crowd, whom I don't want anywhere near the presidency. Trump has been a poor and ineffective president for the most part (I don't see that wall anywhere) but the Democrats have quite simply gone mad at this point. This isn't Obama 2008 anymore, who would be considered a centrist by today's standards.

(I don't see that wall anywhere)
What's this then?

But you are correct on all other parts.

Ackshually it's a fence and not a wall and it's obviously not finished and it's such a waste of money.
Anybody noticed that everybody just stopped talking about the Wall at this point?

Does that mean they're accepting of it ... or the Wall doesn't exist?

At this point, the Wall is practically a non-issue based on what happened the past few months alone. The Wall could be built in its entirely TOMORROW and nobody would bat an eyelash.

Talking about the wall plays into Trump's favor. He doesn't control the coinpurse, that's legislative branch; if it's not funded then the blame is on them. There's also the fact that the wall/fence/barrier has slowly been under construction, so if politicians are talking about it then it can be used in campaign ads.

With Corona still an "issue" it's especially something they don't want to talk about because it's part of the immigration control system and can be something to be pointed at as something that was needed yesterday to help stop the spread of the virus.

If you hate Trump there is no way to paint the wall as anything except a positive.

The only reason you "don't see a wall" these days is if you are deliberately averting your eyes.... if he'd failed to build it, they'd be harping on it in attack ads, instead, they're complaining about corona if they cite any issue at all, every ad I've heard so far is "Donald Trump is just such a disappointment, vote him out" and it never says WHAT he did wrong, just that, he's orangemanbad.

But it was funny watching them shift from "It's a racist idea, he'd be foolish to propose it" to "He'll never do it" to "he'll never get the funds for it" to "He'll never win the court cases stopping it" to "Dummy Trump thinks a fence is a wall" to "Well, he isn't building enough of it quickly enough to count" to "He built a wall, but he didn't build THE wall, so he lied!" to just ignoring it, to cover up the fact they were wrong about EVERYTHING they said wouldn't happen.

If you keep calling people racists, eventually they may decide you're right. However, this might not have the result you hope for.

"If they're giving you the grief, you better be getting the gravy."

If you're going to be called a racist KKK ultra-Nazi no matter what you do or say, you might as well get the personal satisfaction of acting like one, right? Some people will certainly be tempted to think that way. Who could blame them, anyway? According to BLM that's just in the nature of whites.

They don't talk about it because they lost.

I recall a Gahan Wilson cartoon of an ice cream truck with three flavors listed: wood, corn, and vanilla. The vendor is explaining to a customer that they are all out of vanilla.

That's basically this coming election.

Is there even any evidence that woman has anything to do with Trump? By all outward appearances she's just a wealthy woman trying to defend her person and property from an angry mob, and the reason that she might fucking suck with that gun is because she's probably one of those people who went out and bought one just recently, for fear of this exact situation. "Armed, white person" does not immediately mean this person is some sort of avowed MAGA fanatic, especially someone who's absurdly wealthy in a closed neighborhood just a few houses down from the mayor in fucking St. Loius they probably ain't Republicans.
Umm excuse me sweaty St Louis is in the south and she is a white woman. Therefore she is a racist Trump voter who was only married for her looks as a blonde bimbo like Kellyanne Conway and/or sucked d*ck to get a job (that is if her husband doesn't force her to stay home and be barefoot and pregnant). Heck she probably teaches her kids about the big sky daddy too!
QED

(Apologies if this sounded a bit MATI, just wanted to get all the cliches in)

Looks like I stumbled on the progressive liberal TDS sanitized version of Kiwifarms. These use the same forum design as us. This makes great political research into what they think about GEOTUS.

Holy crap you're right.
Light theme?
(What I think is) Xenforo?
Though they have ads. What losers. I bet their site owner isn't on the run as a cool rebel
:smug:

For real though, it was honestly almost uncanny and a little frightening how similar it was.
If people started getting TDS from them, would it be considered the same as when we got TDS from the TES thread?

Trump was made less effective by a right wing media that accepted the notion (often pushed by left wing media) that all Republican congressmen would fall in line behind Trump. Result was next to no pressure to let him even make appointments he may have wanted. Instead Trump ended up having to play musical chairs with these temporary appointments for nearly his entire first term (since he's allowed to shift someone from one appointment to another). While he technically had a Republican Senate and House, there was no pressure on those congressmen (from right wing media) to support anything Trump wanted. Without any political power over congress there's only so much he can accomplish.

Getting the wall/fence built always felt like a sort of self fulfilling prophecy to me. As soon as people spoke of it as something that was being done you'd see less push back from the left as they wouldn't want to give attention to how Trump was winning on the issue of getting it built. Meaning that as soon as it was imagined Trump was getting what he wanted that he'd end up getting it.

Thing I never expected was right wing media would essentially go along blackpilling about how ackshually it's just a fence or ackshually we need more than 2,000 miles of wall or it doesn't count.

What does Emperor BIG DADDY SHEEV Palpatine have to do with any of that?

Don't act like The Rhinos would listen to pressure from Right Wing Media in the first place.

This is literally paranoid schizophrenia talking.

Laurie where's your Risperidone, c'mon sweetheart, just take the pill and lay down for a few minutes and for christsake don't touch your fucking phone, it only makes it worse.

This reminds me of the time that /r/liberalgunowners freaked out over something being priced $14.88.
