The whole comic industry is going through one of the great cycles of birth, growth, temper, rot, death and rebirth. Those like Yah Boi who thought that they could get back to the time of "good floppies" are delusional. The heroes are dead, the gods are gone and children of weak minds now dictate how their legacies are told.
Have you ever heard of the Thesus's ship dilemma? Where if you replace ever part of a once famous ship, it is really the same ship or no it is just a replica and anyone can make one and claim it's the original? I'll like to give a different take on that ship. That the people that control the ship control how that person is remembered. If Sparta controlled the ship, instead of tales a Athenian Thesus, it would be tales of an bare chested in a leather speedo muscle bound Spartan Thesus who didn't use crafty tactics to fight the Minotaur but instead bashed it's skull in with his own head! That is what is going on, in the comics industry, people are using previous good stories and twisting them to fit their own void of goodness.

No. Your livestreams have more or less sucked recently with a handful of exceptions. The Didio stream was gold and the Donny Cates one was pretty good. But most of them are unbearable. You need better foils, but I don't think your ego can handle that.

Now, given the ridiculous time it takes some of these projects to get out, I'm convinced its a good thing to film yourself making the book. For the record, I don't give a shit about Scott Lobdell and have never been a fan of his writing. I just think it's a bad idea to cancel people over unverifiable allegations from people incentivized to destroy others.
This is a moral panic like the Dungeons&Dragons panic, the Satanic panic in the 80's or any other moral panic in history. How about the fear of the devils music in the 50's? 'Elvis will have your children worshiping Satan.' There was also the violence in video games panic in the 90's ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moral_panic#1970sāpresent:_violence_and_video_games ) or Anita Sarkesian's attempt to start another moral panic about misogyny in video games a few years back.
Moral panics always turn out horrible and the people who participate in them regret them if they aren't sociopaths. No one ever looks back 20 years later and says 'freaking out and destroying those peoples lives over D&D was a good idea'. These moral panics are usually recognized and weaponized by political actors for clout or to destroy enemies and rivals. The people who participate in them become pawns. The #metoo movement has become a witch hunt and a moral panic.

I still don't like draw streams because I find the process boring and just want the finished product, but they're good for people who want to draw or just really like art. And like you said, for people doing campaigns, it proves you're actively working on it which will placate the masses.

The process is terribly boring, but could be less so if they take advantage of decades in comics to talk about something interesting while doing it. How cool would it be to listen to Jack Kirby describe his ideas about designing the Fantastic Four and his experience doing so while drawing a page of the book?
