World of Warcraft Rank 1 Player Reckful Commits Suicide

Giving someone an outlet for their depression through anger is surprisingly effective in my experience.

Worked wonders for mumkeyjones, that little sexpest is going to outlive us all through shear spite.
That works too. I was thinking more nihilisticly though, along the lines of "the world is cold, depressing and uncaring, my cold, depressing, uncared for life is par for the course". the fake positivity and encouragement is far more depressing, imho makes people feel like they're missing out on love and support. It doesn't surprise me that cliché anti-suicide bullshit written on a bridge in Korea lead to a six fold increase in suicides

haven't seen anyone posting this vid anywhere else on the internet but hes proposed to the same chick before on livestream a few years back during.

Also its quite surreal seeing my mutuals on my timeline bitching about people making fun of reckfuls death and mental illness are the same people who used to be the same edgy shitlords as the people they're bitching about

Tbh I meant to click on the Floyd protest thread, but fate meddled and thus I'm here.

Suicide is a pretty straightforward operation to accomplish if the agent is halfway competent. But there's serious evidence that social media is acting like a steroid for suicide, and more, that the western social model of the 'individual' furthers that stuff. She looks like a nightmare wrapped around a vagina.

Keep in mind that divers have to recover your corpse if you an hero off of a bridge. If you've ever seen that one tub soup picture - a razor blade suicide in a filled bathtub that wasn't found until she began to liquefy - then you know what being submerged will do to an decomposing body. Don't be the asshole that makes a diver have to get up close and personal with that. Water also does a lot of trauma when fallen into from a considerable height. IIRC Etika had severe head trauma from impact with the water.

No method of suicide is clean. Blowing your brains out with a shotgun is a very messy affair but so is a sleeping pill overdose that goes unnoticed for a few weeks.
Talk about your problems instead of making the guy who earns $10.50/hr pressure wash what remains of you off the sidewalk.

There seems to have been more women absolutely bugging out since lockdown happen. Some people react to anxiety and uncertainty with extreme actions like that gun wielding lady and other Karens recently.
Gee, it's almost as if mandating mass isolation on a people who on average crave more social interaction would drive them crazy.

Was browsing the WoW subreddit cause I'm a fag, and they have a megathread full of people Reddit-award sucking each other off talking about how this guy was their "hero". I guess now he's their... an hero.
"He was such an hero, to take it all away. We miss him so, That you should know, And we honor him this day. He was an hero, to take that shot, to leave us all behind. God do we wish we could take it back, And now he's on our minds. Reckful was an hero, to leave us feeling like this, Our minds are rubber, our joints don't work, Our tears fall into abyss. He was an hero, to take that shot, In life it wasn't his task, He shouldn't have had to go that way, before an decade'd past. Now he sits there in my heart, this hero of mine, Always there to make me smile, Make me feel just fine. He had courage, that boy did, courage in his heart. To take that shot, To end his pain, To tear us all apart. But in the end, he died in courage. Lacking, nevermore, He died an hero, Reckful he did, And we'll love him forevermore. We love you like an brother. We miss you so much. We will always love you, kid. Rest In Peace Reckful."

the fact i had to get this speech from know you memes since ED is dead made me real sad.

Being a pro streamer must be the most ridiculously stressful job in the world. You have to please a group of the most fickle fans in existence and accept that every minute of your personal and professional life are a commodity you have to provide to others for free and hope they're willing to donate money to keep it going. Any slip up, and mistake and your fan base can desert you and take your entire income with them. I'm surprised that suicide isn't even more prevalent than it already is.

Not to mention that for streamers that focus mainly on one specific game, especially if it's a very niche one, it also throws in the obligation that you have to continue to only stream that one game, because of the risk of alienating your fanbase if you choose to play something else. I'm not sure how many streamers that used to focus on playing one game successfully transitioned to streaming another one or streaming variety, but I'd expect that number to be very low.

i made a video about my thoughts on Dr. K and Rectful. There is way to much to go over and explain but I think its enough to start the conversation.

I would like some feedback too if I can improve it.

I would love someone like @Ken Jennings who has experience in the field to chime in on his ethics. I like his mission and what he wants to do but conducting psychodynamic talk therapy covering streamers traumas is unethical and dangerous. He claims it is not therapy cause he is not diagnosing and its just a conversation. As a result there can not be informed consent for what he is doing. In the case of Reckful he exposed him to this psychodynamic aproach and new ways of looking at things. He did six sessions on stream and was going to continue but since it was telehealth was unable to because he was not licensed in Texas. Funny cause with stuff like counseling they relaxed those restrictions, but I am guessing him being a pHD made it not possible. No video could give enough context but someone with experience in the field can spot it instantly.

In his own words. Its total bullshit and coming from a Harvard Graduate (realized he is deceptive on this he is a Tufts Grad and "Harvard Educated" whatever the fuck that is, he is on staff though at harvard)inexcusable.

To think this maybe wouldn't have turned out this way if he had simply sent her a DM instead

Oh gods no. The out of the blue proposal to an ex that broke up with him 6 months ago was a warning sign of it coming, not the trigger. He knew he was in crisis. He even basically admitted it in his twitter feed. Honestly, maybe if she had been awake when he sent it, and saw it, she might have realized enough to get his family to intervene, this time. But it pretty clearly would have been just temporary. I feel for the poor girl. And even more for the poor brother, who’s now lost both siblings to Suicide. That’s horrifying. How fucked up does that leave you?

I could never get why people think being an E-Celeb is great it just seems like it be the most emotionally draining job out there where even out of all the successful people only a few can consider themselves happy. Almost all our cows our some form of E-celeb that burnt out and became a trash fire to watch.

We'll it be a pretty good convincer that you need to make it a hat trick.
