Besides him impersonating Null, allowing ISIS execution videos to be posted just gets him and the sub banned within a few days, maybe hours.
Even then, the Reddit admins are most likely just gonna leave the subreddit up once Alex and moderators regain control of the subreddit and clean the subreddit up. I assume the purpose of the raid and spam is to get the subreddit banned, which would be a failure. Even if the subreddit did get banned, Alex can just make another subreddit quick which would still be useless.

Alex is going to use this as an example of harassment and this site's reputation worsens even more.
I don't think we need to even worry about this on the other hand especially if you consider these following points:
1. Most of us don't condone the hacking and even Null called out on this foolishness.
2. None of us wouldn't even want to get involved in the raiding of the subreddit to begin with.
3. Even so, what is there to gain in terms of reputation for this forum in the eyes of the Yandere Simulator community?

The people on /v/ aren't mad because the hack was poorly done, they are mad because it was done by Le ebil internet doxxxxxxxers at kiwifarms who literally Kill a gorrilion trannies to death every year, one even admitted to having a thread

God that hacking shit was autistic. You didn't even bother to get the shit you needed
Pretty much. FAR more time was spent unbanning people and spamming with memes rather than getting relevant files (b-but the code!) and other stuff. Not even emails aside from those few ones posted.

1. Alex gets his accounts and subreddit back, which is gonna happen soon.
2. Alex will blame on the gremlins but not in a chimpout way, in the same tone we always hear or read. (In other words, if you're expecting Alex to chimpout like how he did in his infamous Cuphead clip, you're gonna be severely disappointed)
3. His fans will sympathize with him, and rightfully so.
4. Nothing will happen after this, and life goes on.
Also this. All this situation is just more content for his Hate and Shame 2 video and he probably will mention this very briefly in the way we know, using his "calm" voice to sound reasonable. His loyal fans are going to be even more loyal thanks to pity, people who don't like him will keep not liking him and trolls will keep being trolls.
Did he win or lose? Neither of these but now more people will think badly of Null and the Farms, that's the only relevant change actually.

It doesn't matter what we think, all it takes is one provable incident of kiwis being shits for the reputation to get worse. I mean, Alex and his fans already hate the farms so all this did was solidify their and others' negative perception of Kiwi Farms.

Though I did find the unbanning of 5000 accounts funny so I am part of the problem.

It was Null, the infamous internet terrorist. Who is wanted for the shooting of Christchurch and organizing gamergate (9/11 of the internet).
The deeds of that evil man know no limits. From ruining the chances of frustrated virgin males to get a girlfriend to sabotaging the hardwork from a humble developer that just wanted to make a game about killing schoolgirls. When this madness will ever stop?

There should be nothing wrong with finding the situation funny. The idea that someone like Alex who put so more time, money, and effort into turning a subreddit into his own little echochamber only for all of his efforts to have been undone within hours can be considered funny. It's a bad thing to happen to him and he's going to m.ilk as many victim points out of this as possible but at the end of the day there shouldn't be a problem for the people who sit back and laugh at the entire fiasco.

I'm curious how the accounts got hacked in the first place. (sorry if my questions seem dumb to those knowledgable in hacking, for I know nothing of the topic)

Did Alex give out the password? Or was it actual hacking

This is a forum spawned out of people fucking with an autistic dude. It's not really the place to be moralizing and fretting about reputation.

Props on setting a fire, but definitely should've held off before announcing it to the world. With cancel culture at an all-time high, I highly doubt there wasn't something in his emails that could've really nuked his shit. What a wasted opportunity.

Yeah, when internet tabloids wrote about this site hosting a Christchurch stream and how people here make fun of trannies until they off themself, it was moderately bad, BUT HACKED SUBREDDIT... Well, that's too low.
Also, who the fuck cares what his sycophants think? Even if that sperg didn't have an account here and we just laughed at the results, they still would've called us out, so what now, we keep our mouths shut to protect "reputation" of the forum, that exists around laughing at people like Alex?
TL;DR Who cares, fag?

I asked the man who did it, but he didn't respond. My bet is on link with malware.

Since he bought a new Switch because he didn't like his island on Animal Crossing and bought a subrredit just to get hacked, I think is fair to say that Alex is worse than Chris managing money.
The difference is that Alex actually has some money, and Chris is penniless.

I've read through the 505 emails and it looks like Alex practically got a nice $4500/month over two years job. If of course he doesn't chimp out and accepts the deal.

Let's do the math: 505 guesses that the game will cost €500000 to make, plus up to $50K for the KS campaign, plus $108K for Alex. This is roughly $700K
Let's assume the game sells for $20. To earn $700K, the game will have to sell copies worth $1M (excluding tax). This means 50K copies. By this point, Alex earned $108K of his so-called "salary".
Profits for the next 200K copies are going to be split 50-50, so between 50K and 250K copies Alex gets $7 per copy.
Profits for the next 300K copies are going to be split 30-70, so between 250K and 550K copies Alex gets $4.20 per copy.
Profits for any more copies are 20-80, so after 550K copies Alex gets $2.80 per copy.
This is of course assuming US prices. Games are sold with regional pricing, and I guess Latin America or Russia will pay even less.

Yeah, I wouldn't even call it a hack. More like an accident. What do you think will happen to the guy who did it? Any repercussions? Law is not my specialty.

(How does it feel like to be a known terrorist?)

Alex could bring both civil and criminal charges against anybody who fucked with any of his accounts in some form (Since they obviously were not authorized to go into his accounts to begin with).

A password reset was mentioned so I'd guess social engineering granted access to the email account, then everything else sprawled out from there.
I didn't use a password, I reset them (where I could) with a new password.
and EDIT: His discord has phone verification, so I couldn't access it :(

That's actually an excelent fucking point. You hack into the mail of this mentally deranged game developer that has a history of having mental breakdowns and instead of sharing whatever problematic shit he posted you hack into his subrredit to post le epic memes? It could be a fucking goldmine!! Treating fans like shit, sexual harassment, using slurs. Anything could be possible to find if you hack his e-mail. But they didn't. They took over the subrreddit. Fucking Redditors.
